Making Daniel into an Autobot Monster of Frankenstein was one of my "highlights", so to speak.

 

Powerglide opening up his chest and showing his "heart" was kind of "WTF" as well.

 

But most of all, Soundwave slipping into the Ark by transforming into his alt-mode. No offense, but with the kind of spophisticated technology they have, the autobots should be able to detect a Decepticon trying to get in, right? Even today, we have motion-trackers, heat-signals, infrared, and whatever else for kinds of security-precautions. The Autobots have had a war for ages, before they crashed on Earth. Surely, they would have found ways to detect their opponents, and would have protectred their Ark for trespassers.

That was Spike, not Daniel.  Hence the name of the episode, "Autobot Spike."

You know what I'm talking about. The moments in the G1 cartoon that make you question the sanity of the animators.

The Autobots and Dinobots were playing football with Spike, not Daniel.

I can see Brawn picking up Megatron's Fusion Cannon and firing it at Megatron. I mean, Brawn was nearly Megatron's equal physically, though Megs outmassed him substantially. Personally I thought that one was funny.

 

Spike playing football wiht multi-ton giant robots was definitely WTF. No danger in instantly killing him or anything.

 

A single cable being able to totally take Tracks' mind offline and rendering him 'an ordinary car'

 

Same episode, the Decepticons building a skyscraper in the middle of the night for no explainable reason and the city zoning people never notice.

 

Blitzwing crushing a half dozen autobots to the point that they use the flattened remains as a chair for him, yet Hoist has them up and walking around in a few minutes time....

 

Last one- when I first saw the Ultra Magnus toy, saw that he's basically Prime plus a new trailer all in one big Super Bot mode, and then they never bother with the obvious 2-levels of transformation. It totally confused me that they'd not have his normal bot mode, then have him go super for fighting Devastator and such.
