How about making the end like Marvel comics #4? Shockwave appears and knocks out both the Autobots and Decepticons. Then we could get a cool "the Transformers Are All Dead" poster for the sequel.

when it all comes down to a final fight between prime and megatron in the new movie. itd be neat if they had an exchange of words with megatron saying how he must crush prime and all his beliefs stand for and prime gets up in his face and says bring it on. ala rocky 4

what id megatron isn't even defeated in the first movie, so he doesn't seem like a push over in the second ... the second could be focused on trying to stop him ....

 

Galvatron the bodyguard... no.... Galvatron the decepticon leader from another dimension/timeline ....cool... ala the comics..... if you had galvatron and megs stomping sh*t in the second movie, together, that would be nice ... then you would need a big guy to take em out from cybertron .... dinobots perhaps???

I'm late on this thread too. Megatron and all of the original decepticons died at the end of G1's first 3 episodes. Not to mention they took a lava bath at the end of Season 1 and that didn't stop Megs from causing all kinds of comic mischief during Season 2. So in closing who cares if he dies.

 

Just as long as they don't pull a Darth Maul.

Darth Maul was all over the previews. All over the toy packaging. All hyped up like he was the next big thing . He had ten minutes of screen time  and then had the nerve to get killed. WTF!!!
