I feel that right before the Decepticons win...

Overdrive and Ravage will fight it out to a point or something along thsoe lines. Then time will be reset back to before the whole start of the Cosmic Rust Outbreak, and G1 will continue and the events of TF:TM/Matrix Forever will occur.

Nope, Ravage hijacked WHEELJACK's shuttle. The battle described would have taken place before the events of the movie, since the Autobots had already retreated to the moon bases at the beginning of the movie.

Now I am most curious what the BT-chapters from Wheeljack, Prowl and Dragstrip will reveal. Perhaps Takara will have an explanation for Decepticharge.

 

In all honesty, I rather don't want to see Takara revert this new timeline back to G1 S3. This timeline seems more realistic then what the original series had been established, not to mention that it's far less self-contradicting then Old-school G1.

Im not impressed with his "interplanetary" reaching vison though. Iits a bit OTT for  me.

 

Tthe Holograms sound similar to the way some alternators can have clones of themselves. Expect to see pink, green and a few other coloured Sshockwaves soon.

What I find rather interesting in all of this is that the TF movie is supposedly to be in theaters next summer. Which would indicate to me that the Alternator line since it is the US version of the BT line will be the beginings of the Movie line and rather than just wait until right before the movie to come out they are giving us a sneak peek far in advance. I tell you it is one genious marketing stratagy. Also then give us info stating that this company won`t give the ok and that  company won`t give the ok to stir us up while they`ve probably already got the ok to do the cars for the Alt/movie line. Very interesting.

Nope, it's just one of them funny obscure references Ichikawa is famous for. As I posted on the previous page of this thread, the "hologram duplicate" feature was originally mentioned in the cartoon's "show bible" but was never used on the show itself. :)

 

For that matter, Ichikawa also confirmed that Mazda never asked for the red version of Meister being named "Zoom-Zoom", and neither did Honda ask for Overdrive to be used for "humanitarian" stuff only. It's just Ichikawa's sense of humor. :)
