STFU and Deal

Recommended Posts

I completely agree with you. I hate the whining too, because I love almost all the TF toys being released. In fact, being 17, a lot of my friends and people tell me I should stop buying Tfs, and I wish I absolutely hated every one of them so that I wouldn't be compelled to buy them. But, people have a right to express their complaints I suppose, and thats partially what these boards are for, right?

Yes, but complaining is good is very small amounts, but lately it has been getting out of hand. People complaining about how sucky the Cybertron toys are based on unpainted protos, bashing the new movie which doesn't even have a finished script, and so on.

Tell your friends to STFU.  Rodimus Prime 80 & I are in our mid 20s & still buy TFs.

Yeah, I do, and I don't think it's weird or anything, but people can be pretty ignorant. Some girls I know get turned off just because I play video games once and a while. They are like, "I want a man, not a little boy."

Men play video games. The age of the average gamer is between 25-35. There is even competitive gaming for cash prizes on the national level.

HA!

I wish those girls the best of luck!

Wait till you're in college.  By then, most girls (and guys) have matured enough that they won't bash you for your hobby.  I bring some to the dorm with me every week and people always stop by to play with them.  I've been told that the toys give me a "cute" image.

They are like, "I want a man, not a little boy."

by that, they really mean "I want a big muscular sports player with ripped abs and bulgin biceps, not a scrawny little gamer dork!" :tdown

Well I'm glad I could state something that some find necessary. I simply felt that there was too much debate and debackle going on in an unhealthy manner and needed to be brought to light. I stand by my own statement and really feel that a lot of us do need to STFU :thumb

All you need is an angle, cute, geek or otherwise. After you're in, it's all kinds of pants-action.
