You're right about the hood sloping inward, but you're talking about a rear-engine vehicle that has an empty hood. I can't think of any other cars that would have angled hoods like that (at least ones that could be licensed as Alts). His legs are a lot better proportioned than Sideswipe's IMO b/c there's not such a huge difference between his upper and lower legs. And he does have a waist. He just doesn't have a GeeWun "speedo" waist. Take a look at Meister sometime.

 

P.S. I called Prowl as a Red alert "repaint" from day 1. You know it's coming. :P

That's my point. The Alt/BT designers are a lot more GEEWUN-focused than you might think from looking at the final products... I saw that mold and was like "light bar.... hood chest... yup that's Red alert." It's natural to assume that they're gonna reuse it for a similar vehicle. So I don't have a problem with it being Prowl at all. After all, if the Alt/BT bodies aren't their original G1 bodies anyway, what's the issue?

 

But I do think HR's "I think it's ugly" argument is valid though. Inherently subjective (and premature IMO), but valid nonetheless.
