From my observation, it would be hard to modify this guy since the front end folds in half. The neck/shoulder area is hideous.  Throw in those two hood hinges and his robot mode blows.

You have good points DM.  but i argue that its not fat people in general its our heroes and soldiers and cops who we expect to be above the norm, above the average fat slob (not that i am calling anyone here that)

 

My opinion remains, a) i will still buy it and hope for the best  b)its not so much this mold that i hate as much as the lack of ANYTHING else on the horizon

c) can anyone brainstorm ANY figure more deserving of the repaint than Red alert? i hate that figure and see no reasn why it needs to be in the Alt line.

 

Maybe one of the battle chargers???

Besides I have said this before, why would giant Transformer need riot gear? His alt mode is a police car, but he is not a police robot like Robocop. Robocop doesn't even wear riot gear!

Yeah maybe you have a point...but...

 

Robocop doesn't go into major battles with multiple enemies who have weapons that can tear through regular armor like a hot knife through butter...so if Prowl (a top leading bot) charges into battle using additional armor to cover his ass, then I'll not knock the guy.

Dude, have you ever seen a Robocop movie. The first one is basically him getting his butt kicked by multiple baddies...some with high tech weapons.

 

But back to the point, I'll give you that he is supposed to be a battlefield charging war monger with extra armor...so then what? I still have to pretend that he can pose.

Sounds like G1 Prowl.

But I don't buy Alts b/c they pose like G1 toys...that what G1 reissues are for.
