Why do transfromers have facial hair is the main dead horse battle.

I knew I was forgetting a lot that needed to be in the poll.

Definitely:

Trukk not Munky

Gun Megs vs. Tank Megs otherwise known as Megatron should be a gun vs. otherwise

New Sauce

Armada suck or not

Energon suck or not(I kind of lump this in to the old arguments I used to see of Energon vs. RiD for 2nd best TF line.)

**new** Galaxy Force sucks (which I just don't get)

Far fetched

Death Star vs. Unicron(amusing, but keep it in the family)

other

Long stacks vs. Short Stacks(this is generally a Takara vs. Hasbro argument)

Alt. Vs. Binaltech and Alts are/are not G1--not really familiar with these arguments. I've been away for a while.

it's funny but the most heated debate of all it the silliest

Rumble is Blue / Frenzy is Red

Frenzy is Blue / Rumble is Red

:roll i mean we all know it's RIB/FIR :P

Mass displacement and subspace.. those are a ton of fun.. enjoy reading Madhammers Retcons.. lol

BW vs. G1 used to be my favorite, but now Gun vs. Tank is the champ.

Takara vs Hasbro. Now that was a good discussion. We had some very heated debates on that subject with Takara being the clear winner in my opinion and now that Hasbro has cut back on TF toy production Takara wins the debate even more in my humble opinion.

:usa

IRONY alert! :cop

*continues argument because he can* :mwahaha

Takara's costs are far lower because their market (i.e. Japan) is a heck of a lot smaller than Hasbro's. So they can afford to make their toys more "special" because they don't have to produce as many of them.

*dares everyone else to not pick up on this* :D

Ummm, NO.

You are thinking small my friend.  We live in a global economy today, the internet, airplanes, etc.  Takara's market is the world.  Where do you think all those Binaltechs and Japanese Reissues, and Cybertron figs come from?

They make quality toys because Japanese consumers don't buy crappy stuff.  Also it is another why of distingusing itself from Habro, which ususaly makes the opposite of quality toys :wave

Thanks for continuing my argument in the argument thread. :thumb

"airplanes" :tflaugh yeah I'm aware of all that stuff. Takara is a Japanese toy company that has distribution channels within Japan (and possibly Korea, Taiwan, etc.). They don't distribute their toys in the US. If they did, you would be able to buy Galaxy Force toys at Wal-Mart. "All those" Japanese toys are imported by independent online retailers who buy limited quantities for the American fan base. This is not a distribution network.

Anyway, I'm not just giving you some opinion that I pulled out of my ass. The population of Japan is less than half of the US population. Hasbro's market is the entire US as well as any European North/South American etc. country they may have a distribution network in. When you have a larger market, you can't afford to make every figure die-cast bla bla bla. The potential losses are also much greater if a figure / toy line tanks.

Notice that I'm not arguing the point that Takara's products are often superior to Hasbro's. I'm simply trying to offer a more intelligent reason for it than "Hasbro suxx".

o man.. all the arguments combined into one all out mayhem.. i dont know where to begin...

make mine takara binaltech megatron tank open g1 is teh roxxors!!!!!!
