The Great Redesign

Like I said before, this might be in the wrong section. (said it TWICE) So, if someone else reads this, could they, perhaps, move it to the RIGHT section?

I think you're in the right section.  But your expectation are not really realistic.  If you did not include making new molds then it might be in the wrong section.  Correct forum would fan fiction, or possibly 2D art, and such.

Thanks for the directions, Furious George. I'll ask someone to relocate this topic later.

MechaBeast No. 3....is here!

Name: Catila.

Alleigance: Decepticon.

Sub-Alleigance: MechaBeast.

Size: Basic.

Quote: No wheeled 'bot can catch THIS cat!

MechaBeast Mode: Catila is, like the times of old, a MechaLion. He takes after Carnivac in colour scheme, save that te gunmetal is replaced by silver and the copper is replaced by a metallic dark red. He has a lion's mane, also in metallic dark red, which can flip out of the way to reveal cannons. He also has a tail shaped like a sword. There's a Powerlink point on his back. Poseability is the same as Carnivac.

Transformation: Same as Snarler's, save for the presence of a tail blade removal.

Robot mode:

Head: Catila's head is, like the previous two MechaBeasts, a copy of his G1 head, save for the transperant blue visor and the light-piping yellow eyes. Head is ball-jointed.

Arms: Catila has the same type of arms as Carnivac does, save that his hands look like paws. 5mm holes are presnt so he can hold his tailblade. Poseability amounts to: ball-joint shoulders, ball-joint elbows, swivel wrists.

Upper body: MechaBeast Mode Head. Nothing more to say. Waist swivels, and the Powerlink point on his back are still useful. Also, if you want more firepower, reveal the cannons concealed in the MechaBeast head's mane.

Legs: MechaBeast mode's legs with bulky feet, the hind paw actign as a heel. Pose-count: same as Beast Mode.

2 more parts to go: Chainclaw and the combined mode. Stay tuned!

This sounds interesting, though probably not up my street.

Visa vis diagrams, can you physically not draw them out on the computer, or don't you have access to a scanner? Or is it (and please don't take this the wrong way) that you don't think you can draw them?

I only ask because if it's the former, have you thought of using Word or MS Publisher? They aren't great but they might be good enough to give people a general idea of what you want your designs to look like.

Anyway, good luck :thumb

To answer your questions....

I cannot draw. Period. Not with a mouse, not with a pencil. I also do not have a scanner.

This is why I can only describe....

Name: Chainclaw

Alleigance: Decepticon.

Sub-Alleigance: MechaBeast.

Size: Deluxe.

Quote: I will DESTROY you!

MechaBeast Mode: Chainclaw is a MechaBear, like his G1 beast mode. However, not only is he bigger, but he also has two extra parts: a pair of drill tanks. These little buggers have a Powerlink point on their left or right side, and have spinning drills. Back to Chainclaw himself. He has the same poseability as every other MechaBeast, and Cattila's colour scheme, but inverted, as well as red visor eyes.

Transformation: A little diffrent from the usual MechaBeast fare. The bear's backside forms a pair of shoulder pads this time, while the bear's head forms a crotch panel. Arms are hidden inside the bear backside, while a head can be revealed from one of them. Meanwhile, the two drill tanks extend a second column, which provices them with a knee joint, and the drill folds flat like Energon Prime's drill tank. The two extended columns then pluh into the now-revealed hip joints.

Robot mode:

Head: Chainclaw's head looks like the original Chainclaw's helmet, albeit with light-piping yellow eyes. Head can turn, but isn't ball-jointed.

Arms: Chainclaw's shoulder pads are quite big, due to being the halves of his MwechaBear mode's lowe body. The bear legs are on the rear of these pads. The arms themselves are very mechanical..overall, he's the least organical of the MechaBeasts. Poseability amounts to: ball-joint shoulders, ball-joint elbows, swivel wrists.

Upper body: Beast mode back = Robot mode upper body. No waist swivel, however, due to the combination trick.

Legs: Chainclaw's legs are formed by a pair of drill tanks, which form Energon Prime-like feet. Poseability: Universal hips, universal knees.

Only the combined mode left to do....

Entry 5 out of 5 for the MechaBeasts is here!

Name: Beast Master

Alleigance: Decepticon.

Sub-Alleigance: MechaBeast.

Size: ????

Quote: RAAAARR!!

Combination: Take Catilla and Snarler, and fold their beast heads 90 degrees back. Next, fold all their limbs close to their bodies, using the front ones as heel spurs. Now, take Carnivac. Transform his upper body like normal...but open up the back afterward. Hide the normal robot head and flip out the Beast Master head. Also, flip out the flat bit in there, and peg it down on carny's back. Next, take Chainclaw's drill tanks. Put them in leg mode, but don't flip out the extendy bits. Plug the base into Catilla's and Snarler's backsides, extend the extendy bits and plug them onto the ball-joint bits on the flat bit that is Beast Master's back/lower body. Finally, take Chainclaw and split him in half. Position the bear's rear parts as shoulder pads. You should see a pair of stalks, like those on the Energon Limbs. Plug those onto the bits you see on Carny's arms, which should be pinned by the Beast Master back. The bear arms should act as hands, and have 5mm holes to hold his two blades.

Robot mode:

Head: Beast Master's head is like a hybrid of the individual bot's heads. His helmet is a weird meld of Chainclaw's and Catilla's helmets, he has Snarler's visor(light-piping yellow) and the same facial features as Carnivac. The helmet and face are also in Carny's colours. Head is ball-jointed.

Arms: Chainglaw makes for big, bulky arms...but isn't hindered in pose any. Pose amounts to universal joint shoulders and hinge elbows. As mentioned before, 5mm holes for the holding of tailblades are present.

Upper body: Basically Carnivac's entire beast mode body. Waist swivels.

Legs: Snarler and Catilla form the legs, with their beast heads becoming the feet. Poseability is: Ball hips, knee swivel, hinge knee.

Next project coming up....
