Who is that on the top of the screen?

Okay, this may be a dumb question, however I try to think of myself as a somewhat knowledgeable person regarding G1, having grown up with it and all... however I just can't figure out who that one guy is on the top of the TFans Forum page!

(The yellow and blue hybid UM and Scorponok/Black Zarak one...)

I know he is from Dreamwave's TF / GI Joe crossover, (I have the issue...) however it never addressed who he was!

Anyone know?

I'm pretty sure that's Scorpinok, with his earth/future/whatever mode where he turned into the Chrysler building. And yeah, it's from GI Joe.

Actually, there was more than one of them, so it isn't one particular character. It seemed to just be a future race of Decepticon Transformers that inhabited the Earth. I don't think names were ever assigned.

that's cuz we never saw em. We only saw them at the end of Joe vs TF II #2, and that particular one (which is Scorponok) was only on the cover to issue #3. None of them were shown in issue #3, which was kind of a letdown.

Well, they're in some issue that I have, IIRC. :tfhuh Also, there were a few of them, so I doubt they are all Scorponok.

read my post again. I said they (plural) were on the final page of Joe vs TF II #2, and Scorponok was the one on the cover of #3 (Jolley said it was Scorpinok). But none of them were actually in #3. That image at teh top of the screen (the last one on the right) is the cover.

So, they are kinda like a G1 Omega Sentinal robot?

yeah, they're gestalts. Same category as Omega Supreme, Fortress Maximus, Metroplex, Trypticon, and Scorponok

Oh yeah. By the time they got to the next issue they had switched them to look like Sweeps. I forgot about that. Still, besides word of mouth, the comics never call him Scorponok. I wonder why the switch.

I always thought he was that generic giant Decepticon that was in those old Micromaster commercials. Apparantly that design was originally meant for Masterforce but never used untill those commecials. Could be Scorponok *shrug* It's just concept art used for a cool cover to me.

Yeah, only that cover and the one page in, (what was it... issue 2?) showed them.
