I honestly think that we've got it all wrong. It's not a merger of Prime and Megatron, nor is it a chase figure where the chase is the head. I honestly think that this is actually Megatron with a Prime disguise. Think Prof. Quirrell from Harry Potter. Teacher by day, evil dark lord at night. Personally, it's unique concept. but my only gripe is:

Did they have to paint him so darned ugly? God! At least they could have given it a cool paint job, but all he gets is a two tone body. That's it! Nothing more? I mean sure, I know of no colour combo that would make G2 Hero Megatron look good, but I mean light blue and silver? He looks like a hobo-bot to me!

My suggestion? Take it the mold instructions, scan them in, and fiddle around with the colour in friggin Paint. Why soon enough, you'll have a working paint scheme! I sure hope that pic is prototype though, because this is not on par with all the other Robot-Masters.

Take a look at that logic though, Optimus as a tank? Nevermind that Megs doesn't really posess the delicate touch to pose as Optimus... It just doesn't fit. Optimus head, on a tank body? Honestly, who couldn't see through that?

And other than needing better foot support, what's the problem w/ the Hero Megs mold? The paint, yes, but the mold is cool aside from the afforementioned head snafu.

To be honest, I think it's actual a pretty neat idea...*hangs head in shame*

i think the idea is cool also , but my bitchin only goes for his colors

I'm proud to say I also like him. I don't care for the backstory, we've seen worse and will see worse. It's nice to see the RM line trying to do something new.

It's a weird idea and I don't see it as an valid form of disguise or whatever reason Megatron can look like Optimus.

I'm more worried about the size. Doesn't this make Megatron 'slightly' larger than Prime?

Megs doesn't really posess the delicate touch to pose as Optimus...

'Prime Problem' I believe it was, in which Megatron used a clone of Optimus to try convincing the Autobots to enter a crevasse filled with some crystals that destroyed electrical circuitry on contact. It failed(because he lost his temper in the end), but up until that point he showed a remarkable amount of patience(jumping through hoops, so to speak).

I agree with Madhammer on this tank with Megatron AND Prime heads: "He's GUILTY!!!!! ...of being lame"

look, he's not disguising himself as prime but as a prime from another dimension who came through the blast zone.

And they made them race too find out what was the Real one instead of asking personal questions. Lets build an imposter bush, so chieny will need to make em race :clap

WTF? Didn't we just settle that the G1 cartoon was not the bard's work? Oh yeah, thanks for confirming my point about the "delicate touch" :roll

Though, I can't argue about the fearsome level of sheer lame this figure wields.

Maybe...just maybe...

It's the worst disguise in history!
