Think I'd get shot down for saying this, but I do feel that Diaclone's are undervalued.

 

Being half Italian, I remember getting a "Trasformer" Jazz and Sideswipe when I was on holiday when I was little, not knowing what the hell they were but thinking they were the best toys ever.

 

When I started collecting again recently (part of my brain which had been dormant for a long time was re-energised after watching a show about the best toys ever last christmas...and I've spent a fortune since) I wondered why the TF's I had as a kid didn't come in recognisable boxes.

 

Now I know why.

 

When I show my collection to friends, my Diaclones always impress most when I explain "yes, but these are the Japanese originals which inspired the Transformers"

 

If you want to pay a lot more for a G1 MISB, that you can never remove from the box or enjoy a little bit without someone knowing, than for the equivalent Diaclone, fine. Makes them cheaper for the rest of us to buy :thumb

Hi ! I'm NEW.

I'm only into French Diaclones (Joustra). I started collecting those 6 months ago, so I don't have that much of them.

All of yhem are MOSC, MIB, with unapplied stickers & all ... but my "Browning" (call him ROBOCOLT please) comes with a mini vomiv-book that is supposed to come with the F-15 ... so if someone has the "Browning" issue, drop me a line :) ...

Not exactly pre-TF, but I've got the 1:55th Macross VF-1J Hikaru Type. Swap a head and repaint, and you've got Jetfire, sans super armour.

It was a reissue, but aside from better paint applications, it's basically the same as the 1982 original.
