i recently got the armada repaint of optimus prime with corona sparkplug, how crap was he, i also got the micromaster defensor set and it just amazed me how much better than the minicons these guys were, you would have thought hastak would have made the minicons more sophisticated than the micromasters. but they didn't until later on down the line

how much for your Corna Sparkplug?

your right man-a lot of the minicons suck but they are transformers and i buy them anyway. however, there are a fair share of minicons that are underrated-the sea team for example would fit in very well in the late 80's micromaster craze.

Hrmm...I don't like my minicons that much. Maybe I'll make a minicon gestalt. :tfevil

Well I personaly love Minicons... I like to use them in KB some times... there really fun to play with even with larger figures... and many have homages if you look hard enough...

even though i don't like alot of the minicon figures i do like what takara has done with the many variations such as the booster packs, CD versions, and x-dimension. it just gives me more figures to look for.

The only minicons that I thought were just worthless were the Street Speed group.. minisports cars just seemed off the wall to me. Minicons are alright though. I think my favorites were the ones that changed into weapons... they all should of done that IMHO.

the micromaster gestalts were cool though and were far more cool than th minicons, the asphetics are pretty terrible

I liked how Perceptor combined...I loved just about all the minicons with few exceptions (Night Beat, BLEH!). But there were some REALLY nice ones, the Adventure team, the Sea team, Over Run..ok all the super weapons and such...

i like the minicons i was even thinking of painting sparkplug into a sunstreaker cause he reminds me of him
