The great thing about eBay is that it's not controlled by a central authority. So if you end up paying a million bucks for something that's only worth $10, it's only your own fault. In the meantime the rest of us can laugh at these dumbasses. :thumb

100 G1 SMOKESCREENS,MINT IN SEALED BOXS.NEW

It's ONLY $99.99 shipping!?!?!? That's less than a buck each :eek What a great deal :clap

Actually, I don't think he's trying to sell it for $5000 (unless you're an idiot and actually want to buy them for that) - it appears what's going on is that he's looking for best offers in an effort to determine how much it's worth (and then sell it without eBay's involvement or fees, or in one of those private auctions with a $0.01 price and a $500 shipping fee).

Seems he could have determined the value by starting the bidding at $0.99 and having a reserve price of $5000. However, I've never sold anything on eBay so I don't know how the eBay fees work, maybe it's cheaper this way to evaluate something's worth without wanting to sell it.

nope the guy if he sells it will still get hit with fees for listing, reserve and for the closing price.

99 cents for a pathetic little missile?!?

Hey someone might want it, not I but there are people out there you know?

Talk about greedy. $50 for a single Armada deluxe that is being elsewhere for $10. Give me a break. He's either an idiot or some scammer who's hoping that someone would mistakenly buy his overpriced crap.
