Yeah I have that movie, and its pretty cheesy.

But a good watch for a saturday morning.

the movie was ok, definitely inspired by many other films ( T2, The Matrix, Independence Day). I was gonna rent it but since i am a sci fi and asian movie buff decided to buy it. i was hoping there was more of the transforming planes in it, but regardless i enjoy it for what it is. i recomend watching it in its original japanese dialoge cause the english dub just doesnt really match the feel of the characters.

My favorite part of the Tetsujin trailer was the girl in the tiny white hotpants.

Gotta love the guy in robot/monster suit movies. I've got all 3 of the newer Gamera movies, and they're a lot of fun to watch. Of course they're awful in terms of plot and so on... but, really, why are you watching a man in a rubber suit if you want plot?

I think Gamera 2 is pretty good. Probably the best kaiju movie evah.

The best ones are the ones where they don't even bother to speed up the film as they're shooting the scenes (so they can slow it down later to make them look larger). You have these guys in big suits waving their arms around reeeally slowly, trying to look gigantic. Oh it's good stuff. :thumb

Wait, wait.

I've already seen this.

It's called Godzilla. This is where two people get in a suit and duke it out in a small model of a city.

What's up with the chick in the Daisy Duke shorts? Hey wait, it's a battle. Let me put on these high heels and floss shorts. :thumb

And you have a problem with this?

Or did you mean that you were going to wear them yourself?

Yeah, don't do that.

High heels? Dude, I fall all over the place in safety boots. I would break my ankle in heels, and I damn sure don't do tight pants or underwear. I need my blood flow to the extremities. :thumb

I guess I don't have a problem with some chick in hot pants. Actually, a Japanese porno/Godzilla movie would kick major butt. Think about it. One scene, XXX. Next scene, monster fight, and so on.

Best idea, evah!!!!
