Is the right-hand-drive Silverstreak any rarer?

Recommended Posts

I just bought a Silverstreak w/ the steering wheel on the wrong side. :P I just thought it looked cool and different since I'm like, American and stuff. But I was just wondering if this version was packed equally with the left-hand-drive version.

Sorry that this thread is like six months late, and that I'm too lazy to do a search, but... well there it is. :tfgrin

From what I remember..yes, yes it is. *waits to be proven wrong by some angry poster, who is on a crusade to never be wrong, that or a cool guy/gal just correcting me*

I don't think so. It's probably pretty close to being equal. I've seen just as many, maybe even more RHD than the LHD version. Of course, maybe thats just me. Who knows. :tfhuh

I've only seen 1 of the "wrong side" Silverstreaks, but that just maybe my luck.

they are both going fast at equal rates in my town

Before christmas I found Silverstreaks in pretty big numbers around here, one Walmart had like 10 of them, 4 or 5 at a Target and a few others here and there and ALL of them had the RHD. (probaby 20-30 total) It wasn't until the after christmas shipments started coming in that I finally started seeing them in LHD.

But like I said...who knows?!? I could be in an area that for some odd reason just had a lot more of them than other places.

The question is: Will it matter 5-10 years from now?

Yeah, I've only seen one RHD, which was the one I got. I by most Alts on sight, but Silverstreaks are so plentiful I just waited for the right one to come along. I still check, though, just to see if another one turns up.

YES!!!!1 :tftongue

Actually by that point *both* versions will be going for higher prices on eBay b/c they won't be in stores anymore, and after the TF movie comes out everyone will want Alternators (provided that the movie doesn't totally suck, of course).

*has teh RHD version too*
