i bought smokescreen amlost exactly 1 year ago, then MPOP at transformerscon last year, then ordered sideswipe(couldnt find him anywhere)

then finnaly found hound in september along with silverstreak,

in october there was a shipment of deadend, tracks, and meister at walmart

i had a friend who worked there, so he hid them for me,(though he didnt need to)

at that point they had 1-7 in a huge pile on the shelf

so i bought meister (wanted him since i saw that mazda flash movie thing)

then bought tracks later that week, and got deadend for x-mas,

i did get a second tracks formy birthday, but sold it to a friend

 

there were at least 10 tracks there at one point

 

i wish i new there would be a demand for them

 

why is the demand so high?

I've only seen ONE Tracks in my life, and I bought it. So far I've seen two Ravages, one of which I bought, so he's ahead in the game.

I've seen 4 Tracks, and all at the same Wal-Mart.

Rumor is that Hasbro made a deal to make a blue corvette (Chevy initially didn't want a blue corvette because Chevy doesn't make blue corvettes) but the deal is to make him limited and to release a color chevy wants later. Hence, we will have Swerve.

I don't think the blue Corvette rumor is true. I just saw a new, the 2004 model, blue Corvette today. Plus there's the blue anniversary one that has the white stripes on it.

 

 

I bought Tracks from Wal-Mart months ago. A little after that, I saw one but haven't seen any since.

I've only seen one and bought it. I was amazed I found it since before then I could never find any of the alts after Silverstreak. Now I haven't had any trouble finding any!! Meister twice, Grimlock, Swindle, and Windcharger. The only one I have had yet to see is Ravage. That is a LIE, I work with a guy who drive a Blue Corvette that just happens to look just like Tracks! I will post pics later.

Ah, I'm not alone.

 

It's silly if you think about it, a car not being painted in one of the most basic of colors. It just makes no sense.

I've seen only one and bought it...and it turned out to be a screw-up...messed up side mirror (got two left mirrors instead of a right and a left).

 

Thought about sending it to Hasbro for a replacement, but I've never heard a good story come from that, everyone always seems to get screwed-over, so I'll keep my "special, one-of-a-kind" Tracks.

 

For my area, Smokescreen, Hound, and Dead End sold like Hotcakes, as the old phrase goes, but Silverstreak & Sideswipe are such big shelf-warmers that a few places won't even carry any new Alts...much to my displeasure. I've asked friends that work at some places and they say the Alternators have been taken off the stocking rotation and no new stock is being sent.
