Hey guys... I am going nuts. Alternator Grimlock has the worst instructions. I always seem to pop off the doors since I cant seem to do step 17 where we have to flip down his doors. His hood is in the way! The japanese instructions might be more help on the issue, or maybe someone has figured out the real way to transform his hands. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks.

poping off the doors helps it, its alot easier that way, those damn doors are so f#cking annoying.

yeah, that's what I did. I also popped off his head to get it through the hood. Other than that, you should be fine.

You don't need to do any of that and the instructions are a bunch of rubbish. It will just loosen joints an the like. Do what I do: transform the back first completely, then do the head but first raise the hood straight up so you can pivot the cab roof back. then push the hood back down and the little tab should fold down so it's between the two crome supports that hold the head/neck assembly. push the hood forward and try to keep the hood horizontal. then just extend the neck as much as you can and bend the head back and bring it around up through the gap btween the windsheld and the hood. helps to raise the front of the hood a little in the process. then the arms:try to lossen the arm/ribcage assembely so the pins sit just out of the holes an extend the doors exteriors to the max. try to wedgr the assembaly out by pivoting and following the curve of the crease between the door and the rear of the wheel well.then patiently work the arms out of the ribcage and there you go. Just remember to pracitce, pracitce, pracitce. you'll get it eventualy.
