if you're in singapore

Recommended Posts

uh-huh, this is mainly for singaporean TFans, but anyone else planning a trip to this country may find this interesting as well...

check out the Isetan department stores. if you're lucky, you might be able to get RM Transformers. i got RM Convoy and RM Starscream from Isetan at Parkway Parade shopping center, as well as my alt. Meister...

there's a small shop on the second floor in Cineleisure (or is it Cineplex?) at Orchard Road that sells japanese toys as well. i think it's Rapid Zone (or Rush Zone; i kinda forgot because i only found out about the shop the day before i flew back to australia), and it sells BTs, G1 reissues, a few G1s (as in, the original toys from the late 80's) as well as more RMs. to date, it has almost every BT for sale (except for Windcharger and Shockwave)..

eh, i would've told you guys a bit more, but i hung out around Orchard Road most of the time, so i didn't check if there were any other similar stores in singapore...

Our departmental stalls do carry Robot Masters (only the first 4 new molds though), but they're horribly overpriced.

It's Rapid Culture, they carry vintage Takara Transformers.

Ok, my Uncles going to Singapore in a few days and he asks me if I want anything, what I wanna know is, which TF's can you find in Singapore right now?

Are figures like the Cybertron figures available there?

Can anyone tell me a store where he might find some TF figures?

I'm actually only looking for the Galaxy Force/ Cybertron Soundwave, is there any store there that might have it?

I could really use the help in finding a good store

Why don't you post this in the Chinese forum?

Hi, I"m from Singapore.

Well, Galaxyforce soundwave is almost sold out in the speciality shops.

However, the cybertron wave of soundwave has hit the departmental stores.

Just tell ur uncle to go to either

Oh yar, I'm just curious why the need to post in chinese forum?

Most of the Chinese in Singapore understands English and speak English.

And ya, Singapore is not a city in China.

No, but it's a Chinese speaking country. Yes, I realise that English is also spoken there too (lah), but I thought that HeeroYuy (oh god I hate Wing Gundam so bad) might have better luck getting attention from Singaporean fans on the Chinese language forums rather than here.

The international forums are designated by language rather than nationality. I don't frequent them myself, but I imagine that the Chinese forums would attract users from various Chinese-speaking nations including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan (don't worry Taiwan - the UN may not recognise your sovereignty, but ol' Goki does!).

I beg to differ.

FYI, English is the common language in Singapore.

There are Singaporean forums dedicated to toy collectibles like SgCollect and they are in English. There has YET to have one in chinese though from Singapore. If anyone knows, please let me know coz I'm from Singapore.

I wouldn't dare say the same for Malaysia, Taiwan or China coz I do not live there.

And since I'm living in Singapore, I'm giving HeeroYuy the advise that he is looking for. If he posted in chinese forum, most prob he'll get answers from people from taiwan, or china. Even if there are replies from Singapore, they are the Chinese from China/Taiwan coming to Singapore to work/study (majority).

Wah lau. :P (translation: Fairy 'nuff)
