a couple o' questions...

actually, i think it's all camera work.

see, prime's trailer is still sitting there when he transforms, but it is boring to just see a trailer sitting around, so the camera avoids it. every single time.

by the way, soundwave is really 1.5 feet tall in 'bot mode, they just use dynamic camera angles so he looks a little bit taller.

as far as magnus goes, after he transforms AND puts his armor on, he is out of breath so he takes off his face mask so he can breath better.

interesting note about the matrix, it actually gets lost under the seats when the vehicle transforms. how many times have you been digging for change and found some unidentifiable piece of junk? of course, you threw that piece of junk away, thinking it was a gum wrapper or a broken pen, didn't you? well, you're car doesn't transform now, and that's why. you threw away THE MATRIX! :eek

also, they use lots of oil of olay to keep thier metal faces flexible and wrinkle-free.

but what about the alternators? t

hey have psuedoengines and driveshafts.. *mourns for windcharger's incomplete gun..*

I've always just felt that their "psuedoengines" are essentially a gun pretending to be an engine, the engines don't power the robot or provide motive force in car mode. Also, the only two that have anything close to driveshafts are Grimlock and Wincharger, and neither really links up with anything that looks like a transmission in car mode (in car mode, Wincharger's just ends, and looks more like a cherry bomb muffler you'd see under an old hot rod than a driveshaft).

I think there is a scene where we see the trailer redux and disapear thus proving the dimensional pocket (in G1)

looks like newsarama has the same problem
