20th Anniversary Prime question

Recommended Posts

I've not had my 20th anniversary prime long, but while i was waiting for stock to come in i read LOADS about him, im sure i read several times that his eyes had fibre optics to gather surrounding light and make them glow. Mine quite clearly doesnt do that, but doesnt look like he's supposed to either. Is this something the Mp-01 convoy did? or were the reviews just misleading?

Not that i care that much, its brilliant anyway.

Oh, and has anyone bought the smokestack extensions from the guy selling them at marksprojects.com (site currently down, probably due to traffic from the UM armour project.) Do they look any good? i'd like long stacks on mine.

Thanks

I thought Ages 3 and Up were doing the stacks...

On the eyes: Nah, I don't think he ever had fiber-optics... However, he uses a really cool shade of metallic blue that makes them look glowing anyways...

Neither MP Convoy nor 20th Prime have lightpiping eyes. It's just a weird metalic/relfectic paint to make them look like they're glowing.

He does have a mouth, though! However, I wouldn't recommend dissecting his head to see it.

Thanks guys, i think his eyes look cool with the reflective light, you catch it in some lights and WOO! but i wanted to make sure i wasnt missing anything. I've seen the mouth! well a tiny glimpse, its, quite freaky :tfevil

And the link for the smokestacks is awesome! Many thanks i'm ordering some right now.

A question about the A3U stacks... how long did it take for yours to arrive, if you ordered them? It's been almost 2 months now on mine, and they're nowhere to be found. :tdown

Im glad i got distracted, i think i may wait to order them till you get an answer to your question!

Are they easy to fit?

I actually got an email today from A3U... (they must read these boards... lol) It said that the package was returned to them, and he asked me to vertify my address again. So hopefully all is well... I'll let you know!

I do appologize for the returned mail. It was all my fault too, I put a 2 instead of a 5 for the zip code.

Damn my dislexia. I will get it right someday.

Spencer.

They are in the mail today. With Canada Posts stupid rate increase taken into consideration to ensure they do get to you.

Oh, and I do read the boards, what fun would life be if you can't be a part of the fandom? Is that not what Transformers are all about?
