LOL Crazy thing is I hand painted this guy with Tamiya paints. They are so smooth to use.

Hey Blu- where do you get your paints? I've heard about the Tamiya paints (and thinner) but do you get them at a local hobby shop, or is there somewhere I can get them online?

 

 

Was thinking about doing a Detritus repaint as well after I saw Hit&Rum's digital repaint...

Hey hellopike. I actually get them from a local hobby shop called Hobby Town USA. You can goto their website and see if they have any stores in your area or you can purchase them online from them as well I think. But www.hobbytownusa.com should be able to hook you up with them.

I think it's damn good work. The paint job looks very smooth. With that colour scheme I personally would have gone for G1 minibot outback, who looks very similar apart from having a grey head. Keep up the good work.

If you think about it, Outback would be better made from Swindle, since the head mold is more similar. Still this looks pretty good, although Id have a LOT of rust, silver drybrushing, flat black 'soot, and other Junkion-like weathering.

outback would be a good choice, but great job none the less.

I would have changed only one thing. I would have put an autobot logo, on the part of his chest the flips around, and a decpticon logo on the other. If i remember correctly he came with both logos and works for eather team sp far as his bio is concernd

Shouldn't he have both autobot and con logos?

Great work. I think he looks absolutely fantastic in alt mode, maybe even better than Hound and Swindle.
