Finally got Alternator Sideswipe in a good pose!

Recommended Posts

Sideswipe (and Dead End) are the hardest of the Alternators to pose due to their minimal leg movement, but I finally got Sideswipe in a pose I like.

If you are familiar with Robocop, this is similar to his shooting pose. Let me know what you think.

Looks pretty good to me.

Have you tried swinging the doors up to form "wings"? I know it's not exactly an original suggestion but it does draw attention to away from the crappy lower half, bulks him up, and makes him look more like the other Alts.

Scraplet -

I have Dead End set up with the doors as wings to the two Viper Alts look different. Good call!!

Not bad!

If his knees are a problem for you, there is an alternate configuration for his legs.

Just turn them backward, so the hood parts are the fronts, then his knees will have full range of bendy-ness.

Hey, nice tip about the legs Dark Lord! I hadn't even thought of that. I bet if I put that leg thing together with the chest-mod Sideswipe'll be one beefy-looking bot!

Also Skywarp, I eagerly await pictures and/or a description of this miracle pose, as I too have difficultly posing this figure. Here's hoping it's not all a tease.

His hips still won't, and for some reason it tips his ankles even further forward - at least on mine...

I still despise the blackwash on the upper chest of the US version... Yay for Binaltech Lambor!

Very Lord-of-the-Danceish, if you ask me. But I never said that was bad. :thumb

I'm fine with the traditional "walking like a cowboy" pose that I've got my Dead End in. :tflaugh I also like to "wing-ize" his arms, but I put the wheels in front. I figure, they went to the trouble to round off his shoulders so you could pivot the doors around -- I may as well make use of it.
