Well, I guess the line of poor quality TF series will continue.

 

Sure Beast Machines is more a matter of personal preference, and RID was charming in it's own goofy way, but Armada, Energon, and probably TF: Cybertron, will go down as the worst TF series ever.

How can you people think three kids can ruin an ENTIRE series. I mean it took five in Armada.

Anyway, at least a certain TF, that everybody hates isnt in the show.

For me, it will all depend on the dubbing.

Why don't any of them get a transforming space suit anymore? I don't get it, then at least they "become" a transformers, sorta.. and we can collect those toys too. And maybe these suit can combine and form "Kidditron" or smthing...

I'd like to see RID, but to my knowledge, there're aren't any DVDs here for that....

 

I agree the dialogue and short-term plotlines in Armada and Energon make the original series look like long-lost Shakespearian masterpieces.

 

Watching the G1 DVDs with my eldest boy, at least he gets the odd lesson here and there. In Energon all he lears are obvious things like Ironhide should not have a speaking role, the writers clearly didn't realize that the mouthpiecce is meant to keep Snow Cat from talking at all, and plots are aptional when there are enough explosions.

 

I mean... Prime used to have good plans in the old series. Now it's somthing akin to 'Here's the plan. We go in there and defeat Unicron.' Like maybe he's got a headmaster now called Captain Obvious or something.

 

Oh well. We still watch it because he doesn't mind yet and we watch to see new bots being introduced.

Something more like the Masterforce kids, after they became Headmaster Jrs.

They get funky suits, become the TF and grow as the series progresses.
