Here's one from a Baidu message board that we weren't expecting. "Throne of The Primes" appears to be Power of The Primes Optimal Optimus in a black and white color scheme based on Optimus Primal's original colors, packaged seated on a cardboard "throne" and featuring a new scepter accessory and what very much looks like a crown. Less obvious is what might be part of a ring of golden Prime Masters behind the throne, lending to the "Throne of The Primes" title. Read more...

Whoa, that's pretty cool!

Fansite Fansided/Hidden Remote has posted official images of the SDCC exclusive Power of the Primes Optimal Optimus set, Throne of the Primes! The set is revealed to include the three missing Prime Masters - Prima, Nexus Prime, and Amalgamous Prime - as well as the Prime Master for the hidden 13th Prime, all of which fit into Optimus' Transmetal mace-esque Scepter of Sparks Keep reading for more details and photos!

Hmmm, out the the box.. I am not liking the ape colors on that mold.

From Blacklai's Toybase, we have a nice gallery of the Throne of The Primes exclusive, coming in just a couple of weeks to SDCC, as well as select other events like Hong Kong's ACG-Con. Blacklai's photos include a nice set up of the complete array of Prime Masters aligned with their positions on the mini-poster that came with Predaking, plus some additional angles on the cardboard throne and nice side by side comparisons with retail Optimal Optimus. Honestly, I like it...  And I am not real big on re-deco exclusives.  However, this one I might get.  I like the detail of the throne and background as well as the "spinner" of primes.  Looks pretty cool...

Dengeki Hobby has posted a lot of Transformers-related images this morning! In their first post, they've got Power of the Primes PP-43 Throne of the Primes, LG-EX Grotusque and Repugnus, and MP-20+ Wheeljack Animation Colors. Continuing our coverage of the SDCC exclusives which Hasbro kindly sent our way, we have today the unboxing video for the Power of The Primes Throne of The Primes set, and the Transformers: Bumblebee Vol.1 Retro Rock Garage. This unboxing is designed as more of a walkthrough to help show how to minimize packaging damage when opening these toys, because both of them have some excellent package design work that's really good for displaying, and the last thing you'd want is for it to accidentally get wrecked while you try to get at the toys inside.
