Hey I'm new to PA and living in north philly(19118). Wondering where the best toy hunting is?

 

the willow grove walmart is usually pretty good.. but not at the moment. the TRU in willow grove and montgomeryville has been stocking the newer stuff.

Yeah toys r us has been really good at stocking the new transformers. It's like you find something new there every week, don't know why wal-mart hasn't put out the new figures. Probably cause they have so much left of the rotf figures on the shelves.

and if you go to the TRU in willow grove (early) on tuesdays and thursdays is usually when they restock, at least that's the way they've been for the last couple weeks.

any comic book stores or second hand toy shops?

there are a couple comic book shops near me one in willow grove up the street from toys r us, and the other is in the plymouth meeting mall, but neither of them sell transformers.

 

there's also one up in doylestown, i've only been there once, i think they only sell deluxe class transformers.

really? i've been going there for about a year or two, they haven't had anything transformers in a while.. at least not at their new location. but lucky you!

Yeah I got rodimus prime from brave new worlds back when they were still in the jenkintown area, I think that was over five years ago.

do you know if there will be another TRU built in king of prussia? i couldn't believe they tore the other one down.

 

 

I think they are building another one this fall, well according to the sign. It says TRU and Babies r us coming this fall. I live like 2 minutes away from the KoP TRU, I'll try to keep you guys updated. It seems there is a giant brick structure in the back, so maybe it's TRU?
