He looks great! Just as he should have done..keeps his G1 paint scheme in too!

 

However, the black lining kinda makes him look like a member of KISS, or if you dont know who I mean, then panda or a transvestite..or both.

I REALLY wish hasbro would put that ge tank megs in that color scheme. It would be such a freaking hot selling item, and we would finely get a good g1 megatron nod in toy form. That i say is still so badly needed.  If someone tells me that the big mold is trashed, and they cant reissue it, thats fine i know a few years back they did the little g2 tank megs. I'd be happy with a 9 dollar TFU megatron.... ahh well enough with my rant. I know its not going to happen, but a rat can dream cant he?

I agree the G2 Megs would make a great addition to the universe line in these colors the big one and the G2 hero Megs.... The molds for the Hero are still good because they used it for the KB Toy exclusive Bludgeon figure and the big one was used a few years back for Beast Wars II Megastorm, but the only problem is that it's a good idea. So I really doubt we will ever see these in the Universe line :tdown

 

And mlm great job man the colors are a vast improvement, and his alt mode looks a lot more realistic now :thumb

HAH! That's what his face reminds me of, KISS. If only I had painted on a huge tongue. :thumb That's where I was planning to use a pin or something to make finer lines; I used a toothpick and it kind of globbed the paint. I also would have gone with a light gray instead of a white for the face; you can see where I used the silver highlighting on the cheeks and stuff.

 

Thanks for all the "nice work" comments! I agree that it'd be great if Hasbro released a gunmetal colored tank for Megatron, which is part of why I did this repaint. :)

:sun Wouldn't this be cool remade as a MASTERPIECE MEGATRON? I think that if they absoloutely couldn't sell the gun idea...why not a tank such as this...put in more articulation and viola!! MEGATRON STILL FUNCTIONS!! If I were you dude, I'd be on the phone with HASBRO seeing if you could make a little "change" (meant in both senses) with this idea of yours Mlm. My two cubes. :tftongue
