Spider-Man Kitbash

Recommended Posts

Ok folks, we're gonna try this again. Instead, I request Spider-Man kitbashes made from GI Joes, but I only require you send pictures. The winner, I will pay for you to ship it to me, and when I'm done with it, I will ship it back, free of charge.

The winner will also receive a FABULOUS PRIZE that I have no idea what it is yet, but don't worry, it will be FABULOUS!

That said, I really need a Spider-Man small enough to fit in an Alternator, so do the contest!

I will also be taking suggestions for the comic back on the Teletran board.

Oh, and if you can increase the flexibility of the GI Joe to better reflect Spider-Man, that will earn you bonus points!

I'm actually about to find that out.

no, Joe's won't fit in alternators without uncomfortable bending.... the original MASK figures should fit just fine however.

I am sure they will fit, does anyone remember the Simpsons episode where Stan Lee makes a `Thing` figure `fit` in a Batmobile ;)

Actually they're a bit too big as well. You can kinda cram 'em in there, but it doesn't look right. Scott Tracker, the kid of the good guy leader Matt Tracker, is the only one that looks fairly normal in an Alt's driver seat, except for looking like a kid that's adult height. :tflaugh Might want to ask at a hobby shop about 1:24 scale people for models... I don't remember any action figures from my childhood that were smaller than M.A.S.K. men.

Just repaint the Snake eyes that came w/ the cdrom if you can find one. If not I might be able to get my son to give his up I don`t think he has the weapons anymore any way.

For Spider-Man 2 they put out a playset that is a Train Car with Doc Ock Arms attached...the whole thing comes with a pretty well articulated 4" Spidey. He's a little taller than the Joes, but might serve your purposes. The set retails for $15 or $20 and should be available at any overstocked Wal-Mart or Target.

Edited to add: Here it is on walmart.com:

figures from exo-squad may also work.
