No one knows. Maybe Hasbro asked Takara to purposely keep us in the dark until theirs is on the shelf.

The irony of all of this anti-gun attitude Honda has is that Windcharger was suppose to have the biggest and longest gun of all the Alts/BTs so far. I think the real culprits of Windcharger's dismemberment are the other Alts. Other Alts "How the hell does a minibot end up with such a big and long gun?". These sediments were especially strong from Hound, who was given the "I just came out of the pool" treatment. Envy. Or maybe it was Windchargers own doing...identity crisis. "Am I Windcharger or am I Overdrive? Or am I a FEMMEBOT?" *whack*.

From the look of things, the Mustang mold will be the first exception to that rule as I see Grimlock has reflective side views and his remold is also a hard top.

Except, as stated earlier, Tracks has reflective mirrors.

So does the barrel require a pin to be attached or does it have clips so if it comes off it can be easily reattached?

The reason it looks like Overdrive is because it is Overdrive. Clearly, this toy has nothing in the world to do with Windcharger, and you won't catch me referring to it as such. You won't catch me buying one, either, until someone repros that barrel (so hurry up!).

I'm kind of glad they didn't make a G1 true Windcharger Alt. He would be really plain looking (one of the reasons I didn't care for him originally)
