personaly I consider the RID Dinobots, part of the larger BM Dinobots faction.

Just cause it had RID on the packaging (that was where Hasbro was sticking all their toys, that wernt Armada toys, and before the Universe had come around yet)

 

So, yeah. And to make things odder, I also put Magmatron as well as his (Destron) troops, on the shelf/faction, with the BM dinobots, and the RID Dinobots, making a larger "Navy seal" kind of inter-faction team. You know, the guys you call, when things REALLY get ugly.

It has some Autobots, some Preds (destons) and some that have forsworn any alligence to any other group, and have the Dinobot spark, (the BM guys). And working as a subfaction, and a team together, was part of the peace between the Maxis and the Preds, as per the Pax Cybertronia.

(sure Magmatron and his troops were against Big Convoy and his recrutes in Neo, but then no peace is perfect, you know. And he turned around in the end...)

 

But, in my view, they are all 23rd century Beast Era special ops.. refered to by me, as the Dinobot Corps. And they had their origins with the 80's Dinobots, as the origional members, and futher back, as The Lightning Strike Collition circa WarWithin.

The three generals are Magmatron for the Preds, T-Wrecks for the Dinobots, and Grimlock for the Autobots.

 

 

 

And the one and only that doesnt fit in all this larger group, is the earlier BW Grimlock.... as compared tot he RID Grimlock, who sopposedly BOTH are Grimlock.

Havent worked that our yet. Clone? Same guy powered up?

 

 

Otherwise, its a fun faction, to think of it all as one group.

And the 80's Dinobots, are kept seperate from these guys, and with the other 80's toys.

So I guess we`ve figured it out Vector Sigma aka. the Oracle used the DNA from BW Dinobot to make the BM Dinobots and the original G1 Dinobots as well as the RID Dinobots. So therefore we have discovered that al though he was created in the future BW Dinobot begat all other Dinobots as his DNA was reformated over the centuries into all his heirs. They may not have gotten his intelligence but they all received his courage. No matter what the theories it just keeps coming back to this similar thought through out the entire debate.

Would Terrosaur and BW Laserbeak be in this group then?

The G1 bots were made by Wheeljack and Ratchet, not Vector Sigma.

What about the two Dinobot cassets, where do they fit in?

oh, I was just explaing my theory of the 23rd century Dinobot Corps, as how I see it, and how my toys are arranged.

 

Id say honestly, as WarWithin had Grimlock and co, pre-existing way before Dinobot himself, traveled back to early earth, I cant say that he is the origionator of them.

His DNA ( his spark carried the information to the matrix, which does not conform to linear time) Was used in the creation of the BM Dinobot (spark) group, in the Dinobot Corps, and as well it makes more sense that they were created, or ALTERED (from maxis and preds) into the BM Dinobot faction, way before BM took place.

 

There was a long time for that to happen, and at least 300 years, sence the Pax Cybertronia, and the 20th century Dinobots, under Grimlock, for that to have evolved.

 

Honestly, I think it makes sense that Dinobot himself, was a member of the Dinobot Corps, as a Pred member. (not the BM faction, in the corps) And all his views on the warrior code, and honor come from there.... But hes still a Pred, despite what sub group he may have been affiliated with.
