Who came first Dinobot or the Dinobots?

Recommended Posts

I didn't bother reading all 13 pages of this jibba jabba, BUT...

Sparks can probably last forever (without being prematurly extinguished) so we will NEVER know.

As far as the bodies:

Stegosaurus: Late Jurassic period (152 million years ago)

Velociraptor: Early Cretaceous period (127 million years ago)

T-Rex, Triceratops: Late Cretaceous (65 million years ago)

All MUST be based off of fossils (unless Dinobot was lost a LONG freaking time ago). Which makes the point of "Disguise" quite useless.

Food for thought.

Disguises..... They chose Dinos after seing that lame holographic thing, and someone comentated on Dino's would be useful in battle.

Has any one ask this yet? Who came first, the Maximal Grimlock or the Autobot Grimlock?

There the same. On the back of the box it says he is the G1 Grimlock. Not the right color, but there the same.

TM2 Prowl is also like the G1 Prowl. Anyway, anybody else got something to say?

Well then why DID Dinobot have HIS alt mode as a dinosaur?

And in the comic continuity the dinobots were awakened by Teletran 1 to protect the ark from Shockwave (hence their new "disguises").

But I agree, it was just a crazy idea of wheeljacks originally.

Dinobot had his dinosaur form before the Dinobots ( Grimlock,Slag, etc ) existed, although the Dinobots were created long before Dinobot. Don't you just hate time travel ?

When i think about it they were a little lazy with his name.

Yep, time travel is a crazy thing.

In War within the Lightning Strike Coalition or "Dyno bots" existed. Later came BW Dinobot. Later the LSC were reformatted as dinosaurs. No relation.

PS: i love digging up old posts

hasbro originally intended BW Dinobot to be a maximal from scratch, not a pred that turned traitor. the toy and name was probably just meant to be a G1 homage.

that's realy where all the confusion lies: why would a decepticon decendent name himself after an autobot sub-group? but like i said, Hasbro never intended for BW dinobot to be a pred who turned traitor.

hmm, i thought it was like this, G1: transformers crashed and went into hybernatio or whatever BW : g1 is still sleepin, so dinobot is alive first, BW happens, then BM, then autobots are reactivated blah blah wheeljack gets f'uped idea and creates the badass known as grimlock...TADA
