If I recall from an article on Toyfare about pre-TF's they showed a pic of a different Lancia with the Marlboro logo on the doors. Plus it had a funny caption. Any pic of that Diaclone?

That's "Marlboor" Wheeljack (note the spelling - just like Jazz was "Martinii").

Only thing is i don't think you realize from the angle of the pic, how big the feet would be. Think of it like this, the feet would consist of the WHOLE hood with that transformation. That is a very long foot. The arms seem to work a little better but i don't think that proto ever transformed. Many of the inital protos did not transfom fully but were held together with wire and pins. This was to see if the toy was possible or not. Could be they just could not get this one to work right this way so they went with the legs folding up from the hood instead of pulling out of it or out of the body.
