it's a great idea! to bad hasbro has their nose so high in the air that their not willing to listen to us.

Hasbro NEVER listens, and sadly enough, they never will. Case in point: I had an idea years ago as a kid, so I sent it in. Their exact words from the letter I'm reading right now: " We do not take suggestions or ideas from consumers." imagine being 12 years old, and getting THAT kind of letter from Customer Service? And the letter was written by my mom at the time, so it wasn't snotty or poorly written either. that was back in 1986. And it would seem that hasbro hasn't learned much since then.

...

that was back in 1986

Exactly.

Hasbro's policy is quite understandable, given the cost of designing transformable toys. Really, I think Hasbro has been hearing quite clearly the complaints a lot of fans had in Armada, because I see things like posability issues being handled extremely well in Energon.

It's not that fans don't have good ideas. It's that we fans have a very limited understanding of the kinds of costs Hasbro deals with during the design process. Fan ideas are not any cheaper. Hasbro's creative design staff are not being paid to simply come up with ideas. They're being paid to design the details of them, with an eye to cost-effectiveness as well as sales potential.

Very well put. :)
