Why, thank you for the support man.

No problem. It's cool to see ideas for streamlining TF that don't involve the confusion a multi-verse creates.

In the Jap BW the Matrix was seperated so that explains the numerus Beast era Convoys.

That's cool, but that still leaves the Armada / Energon universe out of the loop.

Really, I understand why the cartoons have different universes, but when making up stories for the toys you own you have to find a way to combine the storylines in a way that's plausible. (Unless you either scratch most of the story from the shows except character traits which is what I did, or have several storylines using only series inclusive toys)

If you think about it.. in the comics .. most of the A/D's are scrapped by unicron.. and 30yrs would prob be enough for Uni to rebuild himself on his own. Besides.. who's to say what's left of the G1's arnt in another part of the universe again (maybe even Galaxy Force or Alt line), since we see a few G1's now and then... Just putting my 2cent ideas out there lol

good theory dude, but anyone remmember that armada ep wen optimus shows the Autobot his matrix and says it carrys information about the original transformers-G1?

YAAAYYY! Some support for my theory at last. And for those of you rewarding my creativity, thank you. Anybody else have any support for this.

Nah, i gotta say I don't agree with this theory. first - getting back to the combiners - Devastator and Bruticus were cretins. Superion, linguistically speaking, wasn't much better. Second, the two verses are definitely taking place at the same time... even if G1 ended at 2006 or so, people (in the armadaverse) wouldn't react to the Armada arrival of TFs as something new...a mere few years later. I like the idea of separate universes. hell, almost a Bizarro universe...most of the characters that share names bear practically opposite personalities...

also - TFs most likely don't have the same family dynamics as humans do (father/mother/son/daughter/etc.)... none of that really makes any sense.

To me Armada/Energon occur with G1, but with an Alternate Universe, the A.Prime and G.Prime would be the leader at the same time.

I know that multiverses are cheap, cheap ways of explaining anything.

Yet correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding the Armadaverse IS a parallel universe that basically coincides with G1. At least if you go by the comics, (which I do) It's barely even debatable. For one thing, they established that there were god knows how many other Primes out there, and for another, they had a G1 crossover with freakin' GALVATRON himself, who brought his other G1 buddies with him! At least, I think it was galvatron...

In any case, I'd like to think of the Armadaverse as G1's next-door-neighbor, or vice-versa. It's something that exists just right around the corner, and it could pop up (or in) at any minute.

Here's something like food for thought mostly in response to sertile's response:

Kid: Hey, Mr. G1, my mom, you know Armada, was wondering if you had any eggs to spare for the birthday cake she's making for my dad, his name is Energon.

Mr. G1: Why sure Cybertron, it's not a problem.

What the hell does that mean?? :wtf
