Takara Tomy may be offering up a completely different take with their release of the Transformers Prime AM-08 Terrorcon Cliffjumper (a.k.a. Zombie Cliffjumper), offering a completely different take on the Dark Energon-infused very of the horned Autobot, according to new images posted by online retailer Rakuten. It looks like those two bumps on the trunk are to allow the micron weapon to peg in place. That would allow it to fit on the vehicle or on the shoulder in robot mode.

So the blue is the Takara and the Red is the Hasbro? If that's the case, I'd make the blue one a new character for my collection.

Awesome recolor,it looks like it should be in 1985 Shockwave's color scheme army. and 1986 galvatron's,scourges & cyclonus's color scheme army.

Regarding the new mold takara Micron. this is pure awesome. I loved the universe 2.0 animal/bot minicons & I love & want more animal/bot minicons. this animal micron looks awesome & transformers into a dual claw weapon. since I don't see a robot mode,I'm gonna guess these microns are not tripple changers, their not like the PCC tripple changer minicons.

It appears from my omn-line research on these takara new mold microns that come with TF prime figures. these new mold microns only have 2 modes. the main mode is the weapon mode, the secondary mode is either a vechicle or a animal or a tiny robot mode.

Similar to the PCC Minicons, the new mold mnicron's with robot modes appear to be very poseable. the animal modes appear to be mildly poseable.
