You can get the club figures cheaper on eBay and Crave. The Club looks at it like this. As long as they don't screw up like Glen did. And keep the masses somewhat happy. They keep the license

Say that about Punch/Counterpunch. That dude ain't cheap no matter what.

He has come down in price and I'm sure he will continue to come down in price

not much...i don't think. they still sell for $250+.

Last one I watched it sold for $94, not including the BIN's that no one is going after

Theres 2 on eBay atm. One is almost $200 and the other over $300 because it comes with TFCC SG Cyclonus.

Like I said BIN's don't count, as they are not normal auctions so we are not seeing people putting a limit on how much they are going to pay. Plus most of the BIN's spend months on eBay without being bought and keep getting cycled through, until the seller either removes it or lowers the price to something more reasonable

Yeah I also noticed that the typical botcon toy seller on ebay. will hardly go down in price. most of the time these botcon sellers keep re-listing their items or keep them longer in a bin/store on ebay.

I agree, that the final selling price that a ebay buyers buys the item for from a seller is what counts.

because lets face it,any ebay seller can put any high amount on his items. if they don't sell then they don't count towards the selling price of the item.

Exactly, I had a nice discussion with an eBay seller a few year back about the Decent into Evil Flamewar, he wanted $450 for it. I politely asked him if he would consider coming down in price to about $150, my limit for a Botcon figure of any size. As I noticed it had not sold and been on eBay for about a year. He said no and that he was going to keep raising the price until someone buys it. needless to say it never sold and he eventually took it off eBay. I don't know if he ever sold it, but last time I saw it, he had it at $800. So BIN's do not reflect true buyer limit. Where auctions do. Another example was a BW TM2 MISB Megatron, BIN was $120. However an auction I was watching had one sell for $8. So BIN's can not be counted or trusted to reflect mass opinion about price for an item. And I honestly believe that eBay should get rid of BIN's even though I know it will never happen

i understand that. i never judge an items price by BIN's. But i watched a P/CP a few weeks ago and it ended in the $200 price range. i don't watch them that often though. once in a blue moon.

Must've had the something the one I watched didn't. But then Auctions are like that. Or maybe just Price fluctuations. Somebody must have really wanted the one you watched LOL

i know right. that show i always feel.

My always desired Botcon convention toy is Alpha trion. I know I'll probably never be able to afford to buy it or justify spending huge sums of money on. needless to say, this item is always on my want list.

If you really want him I would put money away to get him. Don't even look at him on eBay until you have about $400, even though I know he has never sold for that much. it gives you an extra blanket for when you do go after him. I did that with Fortress Maximus. I set up another bank account and dropped $50 a month into it and after a year and half I bought him.
