Shot myself in the eye

Recommended Posts

Yes, I was playing with Energon Tidal Wave and in a split second, wham! I get shot in the eye with one of his missiles. Fortunately, my reflexes were quick so the pain wasn't that hellish.

Anyway, has this happened to anyone?

Now I understand those safety issues Hasbro talks about. :eek

Yup. And you always learn one thing: Never point the launcher at your eye when it's loaded.

The missles on my Tidal Wave never stay in place when I put him in alt mode, so I just keep them some where safe.

I never load the missiles

Thats a good thing to do....or not to do...whatever.

On some other figures I've collected over the years I made the mistake of leaving the missiles in and eventually it ruined the springs and now they won't fire at all anymore.

I have the same problem with my Tidal Wave. But the missles look kinda silly coming out of his armpits anyway, so I just leave them out in bot mode. E.Arcee's missle has however hit me in the forehead a couple of times.

how old are you? ;)

I never load any missles, I have this huge box of nothing but various missles from over the years.

I load Missles when Its show acc. that means that guys like Nightscream and Lazerwave have missles but guys like Grand Convoy, or Galvatron don't

Had that problem with Unicron...My friend saw the minicon port in his back as I was setting him up on the table...POW! chaos bringer right in the eye....my GF at the time called it justice, but we won't get into that...lol
