No it's not.

On a related note, I'm going to hunt Rodimus down for what he's done to Prime!

:lol It's so true...

I suppose on one level, it's all one when you're talking about grownups playing with children's toys. But Power Rangers is the cheesiest thing I have ever seen. It's laughably horrible. But then I suppose it's not all that much worse than Armada / Energon. :D

There's a difference there. The concept of Transformers is amazing, fun, and awe-inspiring.

Power Rangers isn't JUST stupid, it ripped the idea from Voltron, which was itself a stupid show.

uh..... I'm not sure exactly which came first (b/c Voltron *is* pretty old) but Power Rangers has been around in Japan since the 70's. Something must have been in the water, though -- all that stuff sort of popped into existence around the same time (also remembering G-Force/Battle of the Planets...). :tflaugh

You gotta love Thundercats. A cartoon with even more Freudian undertones than He-Man... :tflaugh

I think you should atleast watch an episode of a show before you make generalizations. Power Rangers have grown up in twelve years. I may be biased because I grew up with the show but I know plenty of adults who like Power Rangers. It's no different from Transformers now a days, Just another toyline with a tv show attached.

Nope. I've seen enough Power Rangers to stick with my opinion that it's an insult to transforming toy as well as monster movies. They've got both Optimus Prime and Godzilla crying.

What if someone said Transformers sucked just because they watched Armada? Well thats what you are doing. Power Rangers has had it's fair share of bad seasons just like Transformers. Well it's all grown up now. The people who work on this series know and respect that there is an older fanbase here and even make episodes for them. Do they do that for Transformers? It may not be as aged and mature as Transformers' history but it's doing so very good for itself. Oh yeah and children prefer it, if that means anything to you.
