Lewis shot us over a note to let us know that he sighted one of the Transformers Dark of the Moon MechTech Ultimate Optimus Prime at the Newbury Comics in Burlington, MA today. He picked up the only one that the store had in stock. So far, the figure was targeted for a Fall release, as recent as BotCon 2011. Just in case you do not believe him, he also handed over a shot of the in-box figure and a shot of the receipt. Take a look after the jump! Read the Full News Story Here

TINKERBELL PRIME, MAXIMISE!!!!!

Hm... $90 for a leader prime with garbage articulation, mediocre film accuracy and a $40 dragonfly costume? Yeah. Pass.

So, let me get this straight, Japan gets a rocking leader Prime with a kickin jet pack and we get an $89.99 out of proportion fairy Prime? Maybe it will go on clearance and I'll think about it.

We haven't seen a full review yet. You don't know this.

mediocre film accuracy

Film accuracy is the last thing that makes a figure GOOD. This is the least important bitching point anyone has ever had about any figure.

and a $40 dragonfly costume? Yeah. Pass.

There have been less functional trailers in the past for more expensive figures. I, for one, find the wingspan impressive.

Wait until a review before bashing this thing, it might end up being a rockin' toy that you'll be glad you picked up on clearance. That $90 is too steep for one figure.

With all the absolute plastic crap I've seen the fandom get excited for over the years I'm surprised at the amount of hate I see for this toy.
