Beast Wars 2 and Neo

Does anyone know where I can get these 2 series? I want some that don't look like bad vcr copies. Would Prefer Subtitled but dubbed ok.

I do not know if they were released on DVD. Do you have a NTSC-J VCR? There are official VHS copies floating around, found a couple of Google Shopping.

Give it awhile and I'm sure they will be released in the US, since we finally getting Headmasters through Victory and hopefully the one episode of Zone

If memory serves, at one point TVNihon had plans on fansubbing the series, but made a post that the only option to get the series was on VHS, and that Takara didn't have any DVD release plans for it.

(Maybe now that I've re-posted an ages old comment, Takara will release it to DVD just to make me eat my words. :lol )

Chek out ioffer and ebay, they usually have series. They are usually not beast era stuff on ioffer, but you never know. Not sure of the quality. Also TFCog has some fan dubs, also not sure of the quality.

Wow I didn't know there was different Vcrs so I guess my answer is no. I have the vcr versions off a site. But they are bad Vcr copies and not subtitled. Which is hard since I don't understand Japanese. I saw one of those TFCog ones. While they did look better It made me wish they were subtitled.

Honestly, if you find anything, the quality may not be much better than what you've already found. These groups tend to reuse the same product as much as possible, just on different media formats.

I remember WPP was going to do it before they moved the whole team to TVNihon during the Galaxy Force sub. I don't think they were released? I might have to see what I have at home, I haven't gone on that kinda site in a long time.

I'm pretty sure the VHS tapes were region encoded where Japanese VHS didn't work on US VCR even though they were both NTSC. I Might be wrong about that tho. DVD didn't have that problem for the most part.

I wouldn't bother with WPP, they haven't subbed anything in ages ETA: Seems like WPP is still fansubbing. They just released a Digimon ep in January, after roughly four months of nothing. WPP-TVNihon was doing subs, but they apparently had a falling out, so TVNihon took over fansubbing of the JP Original language TF series completely.

Another thing I seem to recall about the VHS from TVNihon's ages-old comments, they were also copy protected, so when they tried to encode it for subbing use, the picture was all messed up.
