Ebay seller deceptigtar has posted an Ebay auction for the rare unreleased Animated Voyager Thundercracker action figure. Fans of Animated were sad to see the series come to an abrupt end with a number of announced figures never coming to market. It is most exciting to see one of these figures available on auction now at Ebay.com. Read the Full News Story Here

Or it could be a custom, trying to be passed off as an original.

So help me out.

Is this a figure that was suppose to go to the big retail chains like Target, Walmart, TRU, etc...and didn't and went to the 2 tier retail chains like TJMaxx, Marshalls, ROSS, etc.? or did it just never make it to retail at all?

Real or not. At $770+, someone is gonna get burned. :bounce

DJ, it was never released with a number of other figures.

:tflaugh :tflaugh :tflaugh Some people.

Hey! Should I buy a 100% complete G1 Overlord, with no yellowing, or should I buy a never released Animated Thundercracker?

For almost 800? Just make a couple car payments!

Yeah... I think I'll just custom one...

Seriously, all the repaints they do, all the crap figures they paint orange and purple in the hopes of squeezing some more dough out of the mold, yet some how the sense to just automatically put out a set of original 3 Seekers every time they do a Starscream, the one set of repaints universally forgiven a bought, seems to elude them.

That and the painfully obvious repaint in the Alternator line they passed on with Rumble >> into Frenzy as well. Why do they continue to do that? Is it contempt for the Fanboys?

Current BID: US $1,001.20

Reserve price not met YET ?!

WOW.

Over a grand? I'd buy me something infinitely more useful with that kind of money. Like a fancy super awesome firearm.
