First Look at Dark of the Moon Wreckers 88 AMP Toy

Recommended Posts

Thanks to a Yahoo! Japan auction by nihaohuwen, we have our first look at the Dale Earnhardt #88 AMP Chevrolet Impala, one of the three Transformers: Dark of the Moon Wrecker NASCAR vehicles. The vehicle, oddly enough, looks nothing (even in color at this time) like the one we have seen used during filming of the movie, which was heavily armored and outfitted with guns. This is similar to the toy version of the Lowe's #48 vehicle that we saw last week. Read more. Read the Full News Story Here

"The toy version looks nothing like this. At all."

Bleh. It's a CAR, isn't it??

I don't see how it tramsforms from alt mode into "wrecker" mode. Hopefully, there's going to be a Voyager mold that does this or else I'm gonna feel jipped :tfsad

My guess if you weld two metal wrecking balls to the bumper of the car and wallah, instant Wrecker mode. Though Devastator was the first to Wreck anything in the movie.

As for the toy itself, idk, seems bland, I mean they first show us this picture of a race car loaded to the teeth with missles and guns only to then give us a pretty basic looking toy, idk, it let's me own. Hopefully the robot mode is just amazing though. :redface

Still looks more like a happy meal toy than anything.

Looks like someone forgot to tell Hasbro that they weren't literally using the actual Nascar Cars to me... :/

Come on Hasbro? What is this :poop ? Back to the Bayverse mediocrity of figures.....

My guess is that the Wreckers are going to start off as the normal cars (like the figure), and will get upgrades. So I'm hoping for another figure , accurate to the picture will get released.

Or Hasbro just screwed up -_- what're the odds? XD
