Well Fire Convoy does have the right to be considered, and he is close to his character design. And his Super Mode is one of the better Combinations out of all the Prime's. Only draw back is the fact that he doesn't look anything close to the usual Optimus Prime. Which Ironically is also one of his strengths. His figure is also one of the best figures around. I own two of him. One I have in Super Mode and the other I have combined with one of my God Magnus's as Omega Prime

1 in regular mode

1 in the mid transformatin mode [meaning with the extra parts as weapons]

1 in super mode

1 in combined mode with magnus

Now thats cool. Makes you wonder though. How could we get RiD then the junk after it that was a step back as far as design goes

I kind of blame Hasbro for that.

And I know they didnt do the designing, but they had heavy influence on how the designs were made.

The designs for Car Robots were made only with Takara's markets in mind.

And Takara either made better deals with real car manufactures for the likeness of their cars , Lambroginui-Dodge Viper, or Takara didnt care and used the likeness anyway.

When it came to Armada and those that followed, Takara had tgo have every design pass an approval panel by Hasbro, looking for issues like, likenees infringement, cost effectiveness for toy production, not easy to break/lose parts while playing, and so many more little issues that hampered Takaras design team.

I know in Japan Takara can use whatever they want, as Copyright laws are easier to navigate and don't go as deep as American Copyright Laws go. So they can get away with more. Plus the best designers are in Japan. IMO.

I think it was Hasbro trying to control again since Hasbro only allows Takara certain parts of the world, from previous arraignments.

But Hasbro did fail with the following lines while those that are strictly Takara or Takara first continue to beat out Hasbro

Thats kind of what I ment.

Takara's design team does have to work with Hasbro's and Hasbro gets final say. But in Japan Hasbro has no say, as to what Takara does. That is why we see so many exclusives coming out of Japan all the time

Hasbro should learn from Takara and let Takara call the shots IMO

That would be nice...but lets face it, it would ultimately lead to the down fall of the brand.

I think it would increase the popularity just a little bit. But The Chase figures would have to go.

Not sure what you mean.
