Okay so I've been thinking about this for a while... so bear with me a min...

I really like playing WFC with friends but lately I've not seen a lot of playing on it and of course, not with friends. (Everyone is busy and such and probably found other games to play too.) I think it is safe to say that everyone who has an Xbox/PS3 who plans on getting a copy of WFC has gotten it by now. Which is why I got this idea. Let's start organizing some Fridays to play with others then? I mean if that's your cup of tea like me...

I picked Friday because it's sort of the weekend without being the weekend... so if you want to get some game time with friends you can on Friday evening after work but not take up a Sat or Sun when maybe you might want to go do something else or ... maybe another day would work.. I'm just throwing it out there... (You have to admit... Xbox Fridays has a nice ring to it?)

I personally don't want to do this every Friday because there are Fridays I'm busy on and of course the whole time difference thing... So maybe every other Friday, once a month, or maybe anyone interested please PM me (or post in this thread) and if we can get a few ring leaders to participate and help organize game time that would make it possible for a weekly game play? That would rock! (AND I only have an xbox so obviously a PS3 gamer wouldn't feel the love... anyone want to take point on that side of things?)

So tomorrow is Friday but I figured that I'd give this thread a week and see how everyone responds to it. I think that it may take a few weeks to get people into this or not... and we don't necessarily HAVE to play WFC either... Just a default setting for now.

Anyhow... anyone interested... post in the thread... I may see if I can't get some of the other forums into this idea as well? So maybe we can have a day of Transfans playing Xbox/PS3!

That would be cool...

FRIDAY OCTOBER 22nd! Will be our first game play...

I'm in AZ and I'm organizing this on a few other forums so I plan to get online as early as 10 am MST

Any chance a PC game will work as well? I've never owned one any I'm probably getting WFC on PC next Saturday.

I don't have a PC game but I'm sure that you could find others just by putting it out there that you have it and are willing to play PC games. Like I said I'm cross posting this over a few forums so I'll keep my eyes out for PC players. So far you are the first sir.

Well I'm just telling everyone right now WFC is the only PC game I am going to get for a while. I mean, other then PC, I have a few Nintendo DS games, but I doubt that helps with anything relating with this topic.

The first Xbox/PS3 Friday has just come to a close and it was very successful! There were only a handful of players on all day... some popped on for an hour, others for longer. But the best play I have to say was this evening between 8 pm and 1:30 am PST when we got to play several rounds of Escalation with a few of the guys from TFW2005 forum.

Definitely thinking this is gonna have to be done again if we can pull it all together and even if we get a small group together it'll be tons of fun!!

Gonna try this again in TWO WEEKS!!

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 5TH, 2010!

All day! Whenever you can get on till whenever you drop! Or they pry the game pad from your cold dead fingers!!

So another successful Xbox Friday has just come to a close. I've been playing for about 13 hours? Something like that. And I can't think of a better time while I'm still on my buzz of adrenaline to write a short recap of what exactly took place this evening! Mostly... it's was robotic gory FUN filled with smart ass comments and amazingly enough real fan talk about our favorite subject! BooYEAH!

So the first part of the game play was all campaign since I have not yet gone through campaign for medium or hard. And I got several achievements, which is really awesome! Shortly after dinner time the crew I was playing campaign mode on had to call it a night and I switched to Escalation and coincidently that's when a few TFW2005 fans jumped online. So the rest of the evening was spent in good honest team fun!

We decided that if Bay was to be a character in WFC, he'd be a Brute because he goes out with explosive glory! And the age old advice to keep in mind when playing WFC.... he or she who shoots first lives the longest!

And on that note... I bid you adieu!

In two weeks we'll probably do this again... Which also means it may be on the XP weekend, if they follow suit with what they have done for the last few months... the 3rd weekend is always the XP weekend.

FRIDAY NOVEMBER 19th, 2010! If you can come and join in the fun!

Also follow my twitter account, because I tweet when I'm online... pm me for my gamertag if you don't already have it! It'll be all day or all evening, whenever people start showing up online is when this party starts!

Another fabulous xbox Friday went down November 19th. I wasn't able to really get online until the evening rolled around. Appointments and domestic stuff kept me busy during the day. (And I do try to get online earlier.)

Anyhow at one point we had enough people to play our own game of countdown to extinction which I'd never played before but it was fun! We played a few rounds of Escalation as well so it was a great turn out all around. We had 8 or 9 people for a good few hours of online play!!

And Josh Burcham joined in the fun. And I have to say the guy kicked my can multiple times!! HA HA! (It was all in good fun though!!) And he does a mean Optimus Prime impression! (oh yeah!! =D ) It was general silliness all around so if you haven't had a chance to join us please do! We're gonna keep this up for the next few months.

So the next xbox weekend:

FRIDAY DECEMBER 3rd

Time is kinda open… just speak up or PM me with your gamertag and we'll arrange a time. So far several US people have been getting online Friday evenings and the time zone has been relatively close to where I live. Although I believe a handful of individuals have been out of the states as well. We can arrange a more specific time though. I tweet about it when I start playing, so anyone is welcome to follow my twitter account "ladyofwreck"

Now I do have to say this because December is really crazy for me. I'm gonna be doing some traveling a bit with family and stuff for the holidays and almost every weekend.

I'm not gonna schedule any XBOX/PS3 FRIDAY'S for December. Just the 3rd. And then we'll start back up in 2011 on Friday January 7th & 21st!

This doesn't mean that someone else can't jump in and arrange/rally the masses for online play. I just can't take charge and commit knowing ahead of time my schedule is just not gonna allow game time for me. I may jump online for a little bit... but it'll just depend on how tired I am in the evenings and it may not be on Friday. But there it is folks, if you can plan ahead to join us on those 3 days... pm... speak up... etc.

I've been really bad about coming back on the forum and posting about XBOX/PS3 FRIDAYS. But I sat down this weekend and figured out which weekends would work great for me to do more of these again. I usually tweet about it when I jump online so anyone is welcome to follow for that:

I try to do XBOX FRI every other Friday evening. So it that gives you any indication of how consistent I'm online… and yes, I do schedule it because it just works better for me. Also, I'm not the only one organizing online play, I've spent a few Saturdays on Halo Reach with a few contacts as well, which I didn't arrange, I just heard about tit and jumped online, so there is definitely other people out there doing games and stuff.

And if there is anyone out there who plays and is looking for an evening of playing whatever game… post about it, you won't know unless you speak up. Just because it's not on a day I set doesn't mean that you can't arrange another day… I'm just putting it out there so anyone passing by who wants to play games on xbox live can certainly do so. If you give anyone enough notice… they'll plan to show up.

These are the Friday's I will be online for sure:

April 8th

April 22nd

May 6th

May 27th

June 10th

June 24th

July 29th

That's for the rest of the summer… I may be online other times, but consistently and scheduling for sure on these Fridays. See ya on xbox live!

( Slag, if I only had an X-Box....) Um, any chance Anybody's doing Some knd of Online mulitplayer with the Cybertron Adventures, ROTF, or New Super Mario Bros? ( if that can be done in the first place, since I haven't figure how do that for any of them. :P )

Gears of War 3 beta starts this month. I'll be on that practically 24/7 if any of the old Game Night peeps want to come by. To get the beta you have to purchase either the Epic Edition of Bulletstorm or pre-order Gears of War 3.
