Masterpiece of Masterpiece's

Recommended Posts

I come from the future to answer this question. We have ALL of the Transformers in Masterpiece form (at least the ones who needed the upgrade) and IMHO the BW MP Tripredacus is my favorite :tfevil

He came out in the year 3792 AD with 6 repaints to follow in the next 4 years :yay

But for all its grandness as the ultimate MP figure for some reason Takasbro didn't make it so he has all 3 modes. You can take the 3 animals and make Tripredacus but they don't form the 3 robots :shrug This is why I've traveled to this time period to see where it all fucked-up and they started making combiners that sucked !!! :fire

So how is Transformers 2 (ya know, the sequel in a series of 5 previous reboots) Is it any better then the original sequel? Heh, I bet everything is. Welcome to the past, stock up on future-vintage TFs while you can!

Hey after that crackpot director Bay died everything was all good again in the world of Transformers :lol

My research on what the hell happened to combiners ended at a figure called Demolisher but I fear I may have to go further back to some small figs called Superion and another historians can't name as of yet. We have ancient combiners in our archives from the 1970's that have 5, 7 or more robots that make a giant bot that still have feet, hands, AND a face. While they can still shoot missiles that would kill a small mammal. Ahh... the good ol' dayz :love

I fear that the MP-09 (Rodimus prime) is going to be a FAIL, and with all the hype about Grimmy(USA release) I feel that the competition for best Masterpiece is not present at all-when compared to the execution of MP-01/04, the MP-05 mold just pisses me off to articulate etc....

So it seems like the MP-01/02/04 mold is the "hands down" winner, Thats cool cuz I own the MP-04, and there seems to be a myth out in the fandom that the chest plate doors on the MP-04 pop open on their own and don't align well, that is not the case for mine!

Obviously the mold was used a number of times (in turn causes mold inconsistencies)thus ending in a couple thousand ending with chest door horror.

"That is some sad shit" especially for a $150-$300 fig!

It is by the #'s, MP-01/02/04 is the best Masterpiece- I was kinda thinking the same thing.... LOL!
