ps3 wfc RULES 2nd best game EVER!

Recommended Posts

This and the new Mortal Kombat game will probably be my first two PS3 games when I finally get another PS3 soon. I had to sell it a few months back for the money. I have been waiting for a good Transformer game since 1984.

No interest in Red Dead Redemption?

Oh no, I plan on getting RDR as well and I hate sandbox games. In fact, I have a list of 40 games I need to get for the PS3, most of them repurchases that I previously had in my collection but was forced to sell.

NOT a Wii game is it? the Wii (speaking as an owner) is a glorified party game.

Not at all, it's a game from the PS3, 360 and PC. It's from Rockstar games and it's an open world western video game.

Red Dead is an excellent game to own. Its online play is pretty unique for a shooter too. You can free roam the world with tons of players populating it and form posses, hunt down bad guys or be the bad guys. My only complaint is that if you die in Free Roam, it respawns you nearby where you died and enemy posses will have no problem taking you out again and again and again.

Just completed the Seeker level, and for the most part made my team. Played online and enjoyed testing each one out, till I chose scout class and came against a Leader... EEK big guy didnt like me :tfevil

Leaders can be a pain when your starting out. As a Scout, abuse the Dash and Cloaking abilities. And try not to take Leaders head on. Ambush them from the rear. Scouts are best in close range combat so make use of their swiftness and agility and dont be afraid to run to the nearest energon cube when the going gets tough. Although their tough, Leaders often drop some of the best weapons in the game if you can take them down (or just happen to be in the right place at the right time). The Scout's weaponry selection isnt great but when they get ahold of the Leader's Ion Blaster, Fusion Cannon or the Soldier's X12 Scrapmaker, they almost break the game since they are so fast.

As a low level Scout, its probably best to avoid Leaders under the effects of Warcry all together. Unless you've got some help.

Im going to write up a multiplayer guide later today :P

I'm playing with all classes, but I have a tendency to stick to playing as a Leader (prime body). Its fun to use the RAM ability and just tear down lines of enemies when I get a clear shot to do the Hot Rod "They're Our Way In" manuever while running up a ramp.

Yep, it takes quite a few tries to defeat Trypticon. That final battle gets very close to going from being challenging to just plain annoying. What made it worse for me is that, when I did defeat Trypticon the ending felt hollow and unsatisfying. The ending to the Decepticon campaign is a lot better.

It takes quite a few tries to beat him on Hard, anyway. I did it on Easy to get the "First We Crack The Shell..." achievement and he was a breeze. Normal is just well, normal. And any level on Hard in this game can be frustrating as hell.
