Tania Gunadi Lending Her Voice to Transformers Prime

Recommended Posts

Tania Gunadi has revealed on her Twitter page that she will be lending her voice to a character in Transformers: Prime. She does not reveal her role in the show. Oddly enough, this update was posted on January 28th but slipped by us for quite a while. The update even reveals that Frank Welker will play the role of Megatron in the show, which was only recently officially revealed to us during BotCon 2010. Ms. Gunadi's update also pre-dates Advertising Age's outing of Peter Cullen's role in the series back in May.Ms. Gunadi is of Indonesian descent and was recently seen in the live-action Disney XD series Aaron Stone. The new Arcee?

:drool is all..

Ms. Gunadi is of Indonesian descent...

and this tells me what? why do they need to bring up her nationality? does this increase her ability to do voice-overs?

now her being in some disney show( :puke ), well that tells me something. she has acted (sorta) ok she has experience.

Someone brought a list showing her on IMDb earlier as being cast as a "Miko" in the character list. My guess: the annoying human sidekick.

The fact that it points out that she's Indonesian is just a little biographic-tidbit just to give people an idea of who she is and where she's from. In fact I can do the same for you right now:

"Destron is known to have posted a comment in this discussion at 5:28 PM Pacific time regarding news that Tania Gunadi will be doing a voice on Transformers Prime.

Destron is from planet earth and apparently likes Transformers." :P

I just think it's great she said she's excited to be working Cullen and Welker as it at least seems to indicate she knows who they are, which in turn hints that (at the very least) she has some measure of professionalism and/or industry knowledge. Granted they are well known in the industry, but I don't suppose you necessarily have to know anything about"The industry" to work in it, as evidenced by certain film directors. He he!...:tflaugh

True its like X is Texan... or Y is from Las Vegas. just something to know. I mean who cares that Hitler wasn't German or the Nazi salute originated in Mussolinis Italy? Or Jesus had a brother called James? :tfevil

Of course! No one wants REAL interesting facts... they just want to know where you're from so they can stereotype you properly. :tflaugh
