I think the grammar is more confusing. And ROTF is the epitome of confuffledness.

i say we just not watch the movie... or when it comes out wait for two three weeks. see what power of the people really means.

on a side note, maybe with the third one done bay will be gone and someone else will make the movies.

i'm not trying to be mean, how about only the die hard TF fans do that, i don't care about what actors or actresses or what direction Bay goes in with the movie i will still see it at the first midnight showing and i will see it another two or three times in theaters, if anybody has noticed Bay isn't taking are advice about going in the direction of G1 he is going in his own direction because he knows that most of the people that have seen both live action TF movies are mostly little kids between the ages of like 3-12 and regular people that aren't TF fans thats why he won't take are advice because for the people that have no idea what G1 is then they would be even more confused seeing a movie about G1 then seeing RoTF

Not one person here on this forum said anything about G1.For the most part, the initial designs of the transformers compared to the original 80's designs is something that most fans have come to accept with the thought that maybe the story will make up for that.

What everyone is crying out for is to have a solid story and good acting regardless of whom is acting in this flick. The point being is that all the focus in on which set of boobs are going to be displayed. His focus group is 13-17 young males. I'm sure my 8 year old kids brain isn't going, "Wow Dad, what a sexy hot chick next to bumblebee, this really makes the movie better for me", he is going to love the movie regardless of what female is going to be Sam's love interest. The franchise is being handled with the subtlety of a sledge hammer to hot models face and ends with a napalm explosion.

Micheal Bay directs great movies for 20 and under Males where all the talk about is "Did you see her side boob? Man that explosion was awesome!!" All we want is some decent acting with a good story which has nothing to do with G1 memories.

thats what i mean hard core fans want the movies characters based more on G1 then it is now, the ages group definitly is not between 13-17 many of the people that you see going to see the movie are little kids i'm not saying 13-17 don't see it i'm saying the hot chicks in the movie are for regular people who aren't fans or don't care for TF go see the movie while the TF are their for the TF fans, i know more then 10 people that went to see the first and second TF movie just to see Megan Fox, and how are you gonna speak for every other fan on this site when you're the only person that commented to this reply so far?

Again, good acting and a good plot has nothing to do with G1 memories. I would like most movies to have these things. Its unfortunate that the Transformers franchise is not being handled in this fashion. The Hardcore fans aren't screaming for a square truck prime, they want their franchise to be handled with respect.

I too can attend that alot of my friends went to go see Transformers 1 but refused to see transformers 2 based solely on Micheal Bays Directing/Handling of the previous film, where "I" did go and see it. I don't recall any of the people I know saying,"I can't wait to go see transformers 2 so I see Megan Fox". I would think that's the sort of thing that a younger person might say.

How can I speak for other transformer fans. I never said I was speaking for all transformer fans. I was talking for transformer fans that wanted a good story and good acting. Unlike the other transformer fans who don't care for plot or acting and just want to see robots fight, or transformer fans who want to see hot chicks sitting in cars. There are different levels of intensity of fans and you can't please everyone.

Although I would like to continue conversing with you, you are missing points and slowly turning this into a bash-a-thon with your closing comments."quote(and how are you gonna speak for every other fan on this site when you're the only person that commented to this reply so far?)"It now seems has if you put your comment up to soley bait people into dissaggreing with you just so you could tell them why they are wrong and you right.

I am all up for debating, but when it turns into attacks on the person whom you are conversing with then it just turns into what the internet is best known for, Anonymous bashing. This is and will be my last comment regarding this thread. I'm sure you will post one more after this with some snide remark. If I am wrong, I do apologize in advance and have misjudged your remark.

you said and i qoute Not one person here on this forum said anything about G1, i'm not trying arugee with anybody i said i'm not trying to to be mean in my first comment, i'm not ever the kind of person to ever call anyone any swear words or anything like that unless you call it first i'm not ever saying you did i just have to put that in their

alright... look what i started.

i won't see the third movie and there no way i will let my 2.5 year old see these at all.

i like the thing when we want a movie on a franchise that most of us grew up with to be dealt with respect. i'm surprised hasbro even signed off on this when most of their base are kids under 12yrs old.

why up in arms... what other cartoon/toy franchise has this much following!! not even george lucas has his toys sell this well.

to be honest i think it would have been better if no movie was ever made...

i think it's time to start a unofficial "protest not gonna see this movie thread" with a fancy poll and alot of shiney lights... and some :beer just for the heck of it.

I gotta say after reading a few of your posts...you really don't know what you're talking about.

Sorry man...Star Wars outsells Transformers by a pretty wide margin. Not a knock on TF's by any means, there's just A LOT more to Star Wars then there ever will be with Transformers.

Also, I've seen both movies several times in theaters, my nephew lived there while they were out. Mostly kids you say? NOPE! Not even close. In fact, I've seen both movies opening day in the middle of the day and hardly saw any kids there at all. Actually there weren't that many little kids around at any time that I saw it. I do believe demographics showed a pretty strong showing across the boards of all ages from teens to thirty-somethings and did surprisingly well with female viewers as well.

I've been a Transformers fan since before they were Transformers and I gotta say I love both movies.

The ONLY THING about the old 80's show that was remotely usable in a movie format is the actual characters. To me, Transformers is much bigger than just g1. G1 deserves the respect, but all the years I've been on these boards reading fanboys crying about things not being g1 enough is getting absolutely sick already. To me, the concept is what makes the Transformers what they are, not a goofy old shows or whatever movies they make. I always welcome change and a new spin on an old idea. Maybe some people would be perfectly happy seeing the same stories and characters regurgitated again, and again, and again but I sure don't.

While I don't think Megan Fox's departure will cause the sky to fall, lots of people will genuinely be disappointed. They'll get over it.

I hate this new chick without knowing if she can or can't act. Replacing someone is one thing, doing it with a girl with a funky weird looking nose and nothing but skin and bones....well, it doesn't inspire any more confidence than what many people had before and totally defeats it in some.

I don't see the Bay-verse movie series going beyond this one. I expect that Hasbro will want a reboot so they can roll out an entirely new toy line. After 3 movies with essentially the same core cast with only minor tweaks to their looks, it's gonna get harder and harder for Hasbro to keep people interested in buying them all again and again and again.

Wont disagree with you on the Star Wars thing.

A Respect has to be shown to G1 thats a given. However the respect was not being shown until the Classic's line. Then the ultimate respect was shown when Peter Cullen cameback to voice Optimus Prime in the movies. The main thing with people clamoring for more G1 was because BW and BM screwed everything up, thats a different discussion altogether.

As for kids seeing the Transformers movies, yes they were there however it was the adults who easily out numbered the kids. When I saw Transformers 2007, a bunch of us got together afterwards and talked about the old G1 Cartoons. most of the people who saw the films, were not fanboys, were not kids. But a bunch of adults with nostalgia and wanting to relive a little bit from their childhood.

Don't really care about Megan Fox leaving the movie but Rosie does have a nice body. If she can act that is great if not she is the new eye candy. Hopefully she is Carly

I'm hoping they go a few years into the future if they do another one, get rid of some of the Autobots, and bring in some new ones. Atleast the decepticons were refreshing.

But its time for Rodimus, Kup, and Ultra Magnus

first off... i like how we're just filling this thread up with this gang of reply's. :wave

really... star wars? i was talking about the toys, i could be wrong. i know the movies and such have out done almost everything.

i've seen tf's since they were released and had the toys too. hasbro markets towards children. older ones are icing on the cake. you never see tf's toys advertised during primetime on abc, nbc, cbs and all of the other crappy networks... even cable besides cartoon network, nick, and other channels made for kids.

do you think that george would what's her name (padme lady) come and audition in a outfit like this model. it sounded like some porno.

why doesn't hasbro do something?? it's the respect aspect bro...

the bay-verse is dead after this one. who ever gets transformers movie again i would hope they can retell it with the respect it deserves and something i could share with my son when he's older.

i say we just not watch the movie... or when it comes out wait for two three weeks. see what power of the people really means.

After 3 movies with essentially the same core cast with only minor tweaks to their looks, it's gonna get harder and harder for Hasbro to keep people interested in buying them all again and again and again.

first off... i like how we're just filling this thread up with this gang of reply's. :wave

really... star wars? i was talking about the toys, i could be wrong. i know the movies and such have out done almost everything.

i've seen tf's since they were released and had the toys too. hasbro markets towards children. older ones are icing on the cake. you never see tf's toys advertised during primetime on abc, nbc, cbs and all of the other crappy networks... even cable besides cartoon network, nick, and other channels made for kids.

do you think that george would what's her name (padme lady) come and audition in a outfit like this model. it sounded like some porno.

why doesn't hasbro do something?? it's the respect aspect bro...

the bay-verse is dead after this one. who ever gets transformers movie again i would hope they can retell it with the respect it deserves and something i could share with my son when he's older.

George Lucas would never go in the direction that bay is going in with this whole see throught lingerie and Lucas would never have Megan Fox show so much skin in the first and second TF movie, George Lucas is alot more family oriented then Bay is thats why so many parents, kid and even teebs like me love Star Wars so much

I agree with a reboot...but it will take atleast 5 years for everyone to forget about the Bayverse. So within those 5yrs we are going to start seeing more and more 3d movies(sarcastic:YAY) and some more CG animated movies(like Avatar). With these new(or semi new) ideas about how to do a movie, it would be the most logical for the next movie series to be CG...all....the...way. They could hire whatever actors, do all the special effects they want and they could include the silly things of the 80s like mass shifting and Prime's disapearing trailer....well maybe not those two silly 80 things...but just think of how much better the bot/con designs would be, there would be no GM product placement. The alt modes would be a car, futureistic as well, and the sky would be the limit for story lines. If they include mass amounts of TF mytho then it would be a great movie(s).

I hope the whole Lingerie audition is not a sneek peak into her role in the movie, that is a great way to lose money, for those parents that take their kids to the moives....

one more point to make...if the movies are made mostly for those who aren't G1 fanatics or even not even TF fans at all, then why can't everything be closer to G1....the groups of ppl that are being targeted know NOTHING about TF, so why would they care?...if it gets people into the movie theaters then great, the bad bot/con design is thanks to product placement, take that away and you have some breathing room on what kind of cars/jets/trucks you can use.

as much as I hate the Bayverse, I couldn't sign a petetion or a list saying I'm not going to see it, cause I will at some point....but not for $10 a ticket...

i wasn't gonna start one really... it's a movie, if you wanna see it that your choice and vice versa.

and you brought up a good point. maybe we can get a full cg tf movie with good voice actors and not a bunch a horrible hollywood actors... who am i kidding. they'll have everyone from will smith to john & kate + 8 in the credits.
