Suddenly Prime seems like a return to the original G1. With Peter and Frank leading the way. If Hasbro really is trying to reinvent Transformers they are going the right way. Still want to see the character designs and toys. Hopelly they go with designs based off of the Classicverse

 

Its gonna be based off Bayverse. They showed a teaser image logo for The Hub that had a cartoon pic of Movie Bumblebee. Lame.

 

As much as I liked Animated and felt it was underappreciated, "Prime" is really starting to sound special. Say what you will about Orci and Kurtzman, but on this project they are walking in the room with a big bag of free awesome and asking who wants some.

 

Orci and Kurtzman are involved? I quit.

 

I dont think the writers get to make the decisions on who gets to be the VAs do they? I thought that was Susan Blu's job.

See, I'm not sure they're the ones truly to blame on what happened with the movies. I'm really starting to think it was mostly bay and his ego trip that ruined them. In hind sight, Orci and Kurtzman seemed like the only people on the project that gave a damn about the transformers franchise, it's history, and the pre-existing fans. I think they're nerds and know nerd properties. for example, I'm a big Star Trek fan, and felt there work on that film was good, if not entirely without fault. So I'm really hoping there involvement on Prime will be a good thing. Besides, they are the ones rushing to press, spilling the beans, "we got Cullen AND Welker, and Starscream is gonna be totally G1!" I mean, I'm hoping.

 

Maybe next they'll announce that they got Dan Gilvezan to do the voice of Bumblebee. That would be cool.

Ill give credit where credit is due, they do have some good work including Star Trek. Im sure your right. I know Orci and Kurtzman pointed their fingers at Bay when everyone bitched about robo-racism from the Twins. Come to think of it, Im sure its ALL Bay's fault. I swear he has ADD and just does whatever seems cool at the moment. Hes such a fucktard, I hope he gets in a car wreck.

I disagree. I think Star Trek was as good as it was DESPITE Kurtzman and Orci because the awesome casting and effects made up for their shoddy screenwriting.

 

As mush as I want TF: Prime to be good, I can't believe it will be with these two losers involved.

 

 

I want a TF cartoon headed by some of the IDW writers and people like Don Figueroa in charge of the art direction.

Or a War for Cybertron type CG toon.

 

 

Please surprise me, Kurtzman and Orci. Please make me eat those words.
