KO Lucky Draw Seeker to be Released

This is just horrible, no offence. And going by the customer service that this guy gave towards anyone who criticised his last item I wouldn't buy from him TBH.

The KOToys guy is trying to compensate those who received badly chromed Primes, so that's a step in the right direction.

But if the KO Lucky Draw Seeker does have the same misassembled parts as the other KO Seekers...that's a head scratcher. Why not assemble it properly after the parts get chromed?

According to the Forum over at KOtoys, this figure is misassembled because it's a preproduction test sample. A testshot. Quickly assembled to check the quality of the chrome gold. The pictures was never planned as a promo, Mike just showed it to let people know it was coming and how the chrome looked.

One thing people really need to remember (and I think that's one of the reasons where things went wrong with the first release of the KOLD Prime), is that this is a KO. It's not an official product and it's not a 3rd party product, like Fansproject or any others. It's a fake TF. Not made from an original mold, but made from a mold that's made from the original toy. The quality will always be less.

The guy having a meltdown over one bad review didn't help him any, either.

The way I see it, he tried to sell his Lucky Draws both as KOs and as exclusives. Sounds like a good idea in theory, but a large chunk of KO toys are exclusives - the factory makes one batch, and if that batch doesn't sell well, they don't make a new batch.

The $60.00 price for his Lucky Draw Prime is steep for a KO. At $60.00 people would expect the quality to be better than the other KOs he sells, especially since he kept hyping that only 250 pieces would be made. If he sold his Primes for a lot less than that, I don't think he would have received the amount of criticism thrown his way.

If they guy has a gold metalization chamber, why doesn't he just buy some Starscream or some other REAL seeker, and coat him? Then it's not a KO, it's a custom paint job.

Also, why call it Lucky Draw, when it's obviously Electrum plated Starscream?

That's not Starscream, it's one of them ham-and-egger Air Warriors >_>
