If you've been checking eBay then you know most of the "people" who are selling these 2 Exclusives for up to 6 times the normal retail price are buying up all of the stock. So how can we find em' when they can hit the pegs on Friday morning and be gone in 10 minutes with one sale :argh

 

I can't be the only one here trying to help others, cause if I find a fresh case on the shelves I'll be getting most of em' to help out people looking even in other countries, so this is a shout out to those who can help.

 

If you find these and have some extra $$$ at the time grab as many as you can and I'm sure they will sell here in a few minutes. Help out your friends on the boards and lets put a dent in those bastards still getting $50 for these on eBay.

 

Right now I'm trying to get 5 of each for me & friends but I'll get all I can find for anyone here as long as you guys/gals still want em'. AT COST & shipping. I'll post if I ever find any :hbang

I too will help out whoever needs them if I find them on the shelves. So anyone who finds them first be sure to post here and let those who need know! I have even gone so far as to ask my sister to look for them for me. She's a shopaholic so doing this for me is no big deal to her. Still though, it has resorted to that and that isn't right!

There are the soulless shells that are asking up to $40 or more for Arcee on starting bid. Then there are the half-shelled ones that are starting their bids at $9.99 and letting the price naturally drive itself up. Paranoia strikes fear, it seems. The real problem is that Hasbro is trusting TRU to roll out all stock in uniform, which isn't happening. Of all the figures to release as an exclusive... WHY THIS ONE!? :damnit

Yeah. Why two brand new toys and not the two repaints of Jazz and Soundwave?

They're becoming more and more widespread in central Jersey, it's just a matter of time.

Keep in mind, every figure has a sparce release before it hits widespread and thats all were seeing now.

We've been through this before, may I remind everyone about Concept Bumblebee, Blitzwing, Ultra Magnus, Wreck Garr, The Icecream Truck...

 

It's sadly a downside to the forums. One guy finds it early so everyone scrambles with no luck. Another guy finds it everyone cries scalpers (I wonder just how many ebay sellers work at TRU? Hell if I did I'd take advantage too, that job starts close to minimum)

 

Most TRUs don't even have the figure in their system yet. Be patient people, befor you know it, you'll be bored with her screaming about why you can't find the next thing...

That's sort of a half truth. I've been to about 11 TRUs so far. Nine are flooded with Ratchets, but I haven't seen a single Arcee yet. When I say flooded, I mean a minimum of 4 Ratchets on the shelf. Hell, I saw 2 TRUs that had 8+ Ratchets on the shelf! Meanwhile, there are no less than 70 auctions on eBay for Arcee. You could argue it's being shortpacked. Still, TRU really should have a "limit 1 per customer" rule on exclusives. At least for the first 2-3wks. Sure, there's nothing stopping the scalper from revolving back in and eventually wiping stock out. But it's the principle of the matter to let people have a chance.

In my area I have a ton of TRUs, so far I saw the figure 1 time in a smashed package and 1 ratchet in a slightly dinged box(I bought that) then nothing. The figures aren't even in most TRU systems yet.

 

4 Ratchets should mean 4 Arcees, but I'm also willing to bet your not the only guy hunting the figure in your area. I know there's more then me looking around here.

 

Just yesterday in the Jersey sightings thread the figure was found in central Jersey stores so she is showing up. My only bits of advice would be know your store's truck days, and show up early.
